Armour Help

Hey,
as you can see, i will be hitting 70 very soon (yay) and i am wondering what i should do about armour and ornaments. should i farm TT runs to get mats and make the armour, or should i just buy from AH and spend ridiculous amounts of money on it?

also, if i manufacture it, should i socket and shard it? or is that a waste of time at my level?

any answers and opinions are welcome ... i just need this clearing up!

    TT70 armor is good. And shard it only with average hp shards. If you feel the need to refine just +1 it. You will need the TT70 armor to break it down for TT80 armor.

    don't see why would he need TT 80(armor and leggings that is),since he could just buy plate of proud corsaire(armor lvl 79 and cuisses of sea captain leggings lvl 77 and both are on almost same as TT80 stuff and yet lot cheaper.)
