I read the topic from junk (http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1331) and I have a question. I want to build my cleric like a party healer in pvp, so wich build do I have to take ?
7 MAG, 1 STR and 2 VIT ? 8 MAG, 1 STR and 1 VIT ? 9 MAG and 1 STR ?
I'm used to play healer and done a test cara to see how to play clerics on pwi, so, what do you think is the best for a PVP Healer :) ?

Some VIT until 50-60 (so to have about 60 vit), then mag bonus is too big to be avoided... Until 90 full MAG, then restat vit into mag.

You can pay real money, or buy Gold in game from auctioneer and use them to buy (without spending real money but ingame coins).

I would like more hps which would make harder to kill so no 1.

The point is... It depends... For my low experience more VIT can help if surprised (or btw if u are not the first to take target), that gives u the possibility to survive sufficiently to take target, heal yourrself/sleep the target, and then begin the fight.

More MAG is advisable to have in case of duels / PK (in the strict sense... You see anyone, u target and shoot) / initiative in combat: as known, more MAG (first of all in higher lvls) due to very much higher M.Atk -> great probability to end the fight in few hits after sleep/freeze, not leaving the enemy any chance to react.

Obviously it also depends by which class u are challenging... But overall i would go for 0 VIT or 1 VIT.

I would prefer to go with 2 vit sure more mag. is nice but being stunned and you won't alwas be attacking.

Full MAG is good in 1v1 situation, but it really takes the down fall in mass Pk/TW

Of course. It is just a matter of game style, i think if you know what you are doing while playing you can OWN with 2 vit, 1 vit, 0 vit and also with 3 vit, lol.

Actually I can't PVP (too low lvl) but I never (and will never) play solo, always with my boyfriend and friends of mine. I love play healer (not mage), I always choose that type of caracter for 3 years now and for PVP I always wanted to be a good assist. I want to heal as well as I can but I also want to survive if someone shot me first.
With PVE test, I can't have a good idea of where I should put my points to survive in PVP. I think I can't play my healing class without HP, Citrine can help me with that handicap, but I don't know if I can survive only with that. One VIT could be cool, 2 too much ? I don't know, that's why I ask you :) .

If you are not going to be a DD at all (bein so a FSC, Full Support Cleric) i think the best way is to maximize your VIT, so at least 2 VIT if not 3 (that's not too much if u dont care to deal damages). Your healing spells will be less effective (less M.Atk, less HP healed) but it is a very small handicap compared to the great survivability acquired (example: lvl 70 cleric. 1 vit build has moreless 35 VIT, so 350 additional HP... lvl 70 cleric 3vit has 105 VIT, so 1050 additional HP) that permits you to focus your attention on keeping your squad memebrs alive and not on yourself (if you are not massively targeted you may can save often yourself using genie skills, apoths for hp and hp pots, keeping constantly friends healed).

Of course citrine gives a great help, and also refining the armor does. Remember also the possibility to make a LA Cleric, that leaves you a bit more physical defense (but despite your magical one), may increaing some VIT on that too (probabl this combination will grant you a very very good survivability, even if i dont like LA clerics, so i think i can't tell this for sure).

Otherwise, if you prefer keeping a high M.Atk you will heal some more HP and you will also able to deal many damages. But maybe you will not be able to heal your friends a lot if enemies notice a full MAG cleric in pure support position :P

I dislike LA cleric, I love robe :) . For me PVP is not only 2 vs 2 but big PVP with many ppl, and other clerics, I think I will test with 2 VIT. Perhaps after I will have many glod and test other things *dreams* .
(And perhaps I could use my phoe to pay, that's been month that I wait >_< !).

Thanks for all, if you have other idea, I will listen you of course ♥ !

The build depends on which server you are playing on. If it's pvp server, then definitely the vit build. no vit = 1 shotted. If it's pve server, then yes you can do w/e you like as long as you don't go into pk mode.

However, you can still pvp as pure MAG only if your gear has +5-6 refine. Usually people wait till lvl 80 with gold TT set or lvl 90 with green TT set before refining their gear and going pure MAG. It also depends on your ornaments and other stuff. With enough money, any build is viable but dangerous builds don't show up till after lvl 90. This is when your damage, hp, pdef, etc.. are greatly increased.
