Why are the developers ruining the game?

Nisanthro - Heavens Tear

I just don't get it. There were these DQ horses you could get if you worked really hard to get all the dragon orders needed. Now just everyone can buy threm without waiting, without doing anything.
For me, getting the Violet Lightning, the rare mount, was one of the goals in this game. Now its gone. Now everyone will be riding the violet lightning, the ordinary mount.
