Genie Base Skill : replaceable?

Hi,

I could not manage to find an answer to this short and basic question : base genie skill (according to the genie) should be replaced or do you think of a good reason to keep it?
According to each genie, I personnaly thing some are really not worth, especially the zeal's one. I'd love to listen to your points of view about that.

  • Discipline : Wind Force - Increases Flight Speed by 50%. Interesting in air PvP when trying to Fly away? Any Interest for WQ?
  • Zeal : Earthflame - Reduces Target attack and defense 4%... not strong and not long enough to mean anything to me.
  • Longevity : Eruption Fist - Reduces Elemental resistance 30%. Sound like a good curse for Mag Built.
  • Infliction : Venom Stinger - Decreases Targets speed & increases yours by 22%. A good buff for PvP escape?

    In my opinion, Windforce and Earthflame has uses, and can be kept, others are useless.

    For a veno, Windforce helps in attacking from the air using nix, and Earthflame helps luring single mobs when soloing TTs.

    i use discipline and deleted the starting skill

    I usually play in PvP mode on a PvE server, which for a "mere" lvl. ~70 means 90% of the people who attack me are armed to the teeth and can kill me easily. Wind Force has been my Ace-in-the-Hole, so to speak. It effectively allows me the final say as to whether or not there will be a fight. For the moment, that's a defensive advantage only, but later I'm sure I'll use it offensively as well.

    Never realized that earthflame could be used for luring...
    This is a very short range luring, but that sounds very usefull for non veno chars (a also a hudge decrease in interest for non-herc Owner Venos!).

    Ok, then, this one should never be replaced by owner of zeal genies but venos.
    For venos, I think you could throw it. Actually, U may need it to lure some mobs surroundig a big boss to avoid your pet to be one-shooted by the boss before you had time to stow it.... but you could as well as a second genie (a zeal indeed) devoted to this only task. It does not need to be high level to do such.

    Discipline's the only one I'd consider keeping, tbh.

    Zeal's Earthflame is nice too, though. Well, at least until they fix it so it no loner lures.
