TW Wrap-Up: 08/07/09 -- 08/09/09

Konariraiden - Heavens Tear

*yawn* Another active weekend for me...both on and offline! Caught up with some old high school friends...man...those were the days. *clears throat* But, I'ma big college boy now, so it's time to start acting like all of my other friends, all mature, responsible, an--AHAHAHAHAHAHA...! Ah...couldn't say that with a straight face...! Well, here we are again, another week's passing of Awesome-Sauce Territory Wars; I'm your host, the TW MC of HT, Konari Raiden, givin' you the scoop on all the results for the Wars this week! So without further ado...let's get to the meat of the program!

Friday, August 7th Territory War Wrap-Up

The usual plan is used again; Enrage's "One for Two" defense strategy works once more!

So...it seems the somewhat slow minds of the Heaven's Tear server have finally processed the fact that Enrage has welcomed attacks to their land, and even tried to spark that kind of reaction months ago here on the forums. Finally, the people get the message and seven Factions have risen to the challenge this week. On Friday, Enrage had to deal with Caesar, Stealth, and PartyWipe in a three-way gank. The tried and true strategy of giving one land up to defend two successfully worked yet again, as Caesar easily took their crystal, but Stealth and PartyWipe were repelled. Better luck next week, gang...don't stop here, you may still have a chance!

Radiance girds their loins, proves their defensive capabilities yet again!

It seems that Enrage wasn't the only one who was targeted by new coming factions this week. Radiance was also on the hit list, having to deal with Knights, Assault, and Xiao on Friday. However, Radiance still proves that its defense is not to be scoffed at...they've defended approximately twenty attacks in one weekend before, after all!

Tien and Belial go at it: The Defensive sides are on a roll tonight!

Hehe...this was the one battle I was intent of keeping track of. The brand-new land-owning Faction, Tien, up against its first defense against a fairly strong opponent, Belial. I'm sure it was a heck of a battle, but Tien eventually came out on top, winning in one hour. Congrats, Tien, and great fighting, Belial! Hope to see you fightin' again real soon!

Saturday, August 8th Territory War Wrap-Up

Reversal of Fate: Enrage's trip-up in troop allocation?

This was, without a doubt, the most surprising fight of the weekend, at least for me. First off, Enrage switches to a more defensive stance and begins to attack Radiance, most likely to protect the Thousand Streams Territory. They achieved that goal fairly easily, beating Radiance and taking the Frozen Path.

However, a few hours after that battle was the second three-way gank of the weekend, featuring Tao, Radiance, and the reborn Evolution. Radiance and Evo got at easy win, as Radiance's TW was apparently empty, and the standby's in Enrage went to the Evo war. (Let me just take this time out to say congrats on the new land, Evo...hot pink is totally your color. b:dirty) Thus, the major forces were sent to defend against Tao, their love-hate relationship burning strong. However, Tao was able to claim victory in little over an hour and a half, leaving Enrage at a 1-3 record for the day. I don't know what to say to this, I really don't. Enrage better not be dyin'...we all need someone that we love to hate...! *whine*

A final bow for Triad, but will they return?

Ah, Triad...what did happen to you? Was it leadership? Inactive members? I never really knew...but whatever it was, it sure did happen fast. Tien and Enlighten claimed the final two Triad lands this week, thus wiping the lively crimson color from the map...at least for now. Perhaps they're just waiting to pop up somewhere else on the map...? Hehe...keep an eye out...I don't think Triad is done just yet...hopefully.

Sunday, August 9th Territory War Wrap-Up

Redemption from darker days: Enrage's victory over OdinBlade!

OdinBlade was hoping to be a part of one of the three-way ganks this weekend...possibly hoping for an easier shot at land? However, fate had other plans, as they were stuck with a 1v1 against Enrage this Sunday. Enrage's morale must've been down just a bit since Saturday, as this war seemed to be a lot more laid back and just pure fun (I remember hearing about stunning catshops and what not...ah, good times). As one anonymous Enrage member put it, "It was a cheerer-upper from Saturday." Just goes to show that things should not always be taken WHY SO SERIOUS?!-ly. Keep on keepin' on, Enrage...you do it for those lulz.

Enlighten shows its strength! Dual Defense, successful!

Our final Territory War set for the weekend was Enlighten's defense against Triad and the recently-ousted Ragnaroc. *glances at Caesar* I'm sure that both Factions, who were wiped from the map, desperately wanted a shot at redemption and some land again. However, it just wasn't in the cards, as Enlighten finished up the Ragnaroc fight and Triad fight in a fair amount of time. It seems that Enlighten is here to stay for a good while. Well-deserved, Enlighten. Well-deserved.

It was a continuous 1 hour battle on both sides with several pushes from both sides. I only had 1 person on TIEN that gave me trouble who was Qbii. Though Im quite sure theres a few hated seeing me coming there way, Still a blast. Our guys had a blast. Got some much better training for alot of guys that hadnt been in TW before who needed it. Able to get more refining to our tactics done and will have it soon as a flawless system.

However were are here to stay and will be seeing us a lot more. b:victoryb:victory

Yeap and my faction makes me very proud and honered to have me as there leader. Our guys and gals fight as though they are 20 levels higher than they really are. Always giving 110%.
