Too much daily quest

There are too many daily quests and they take up too much time for non hard core players. The game should be more free style playing but the daily quests make the game an everyday routine and take all the fun away.

You can say skip the daily and play for fun. Yeah sometimes I do, but the reward for daily is too high to skip (in other words everything else sucks). I am not alone. When you try to pm somebody for party, most likely you get "sry, wq"

At least wq should be disabled. It is no fun. It does not lead to profit for the devs and gms. It is pointless.

Of course, the hard core gamers, those who play 10 hours a day, will shoot down this idea. But I am just telling the truth. daily quests kill the game.

World Quest is actually a rather carefree way of leveling, I think I would be quite sad if they removed the main form of leveling in the 70's.

Especially now with the auto pathing. You literally just click the green letters in your "Find quest" box and minimize the game to do something else, or even walk away from the computer for a stretch. b:victory

    Personal opinion though XP

A lot of people would have been long gone if not for daily quests. Kinda sad, really.

No truth to this at all IMHO.

    1) You don't have to do any of them they are optional. I often skip. Why deprive people of the option?

    2) It gives NON hard core gamers the ability to level up a bit when they are too busy to play for long, with very little time using CS.
It allows you to keep an Alt somewhat in the running.
CS helps drain coin from the economy thereby lowering exchange rate inflation.

    3) WQ allows you to either:
    a) spend time chatting with Guildies, friends etc or
    b) do 80% of it afk while flying
    c) interleave it with other quests, that are near one of the stops.

    4) WQ helps drain coins when you use teleportation services and helps PWI when people use the Teleport Stones.

    5) I think Guild and World Chat would be a lot more dead if it wasn't for WQ. Many guildies will interrupt their WQ to help you.

PS. I'm not a hard core gamer and if anything I think there should be more CS/Oracle style daily quests. BH is too much of a hassle.

Between world quest, crazy stone, and bounty hunter it takes me max an hour and a half. If you don't have the time one day take the quests for that day and do them the next and double up.

It keeps a level field so there aren't a handfull of high levels and the rest stuck.
Spoons you will forever be missed in this community

if it wasn't for CS i may have quit loooong time ago. you obviously don't know how much it sucks to have to grind like 500k+ exp. the last game i played before perfect world i quit becos it was becoming to much of a pain to grind.

in addtion to that you make it sound like doing these quests are a must. if you don't like em leave em.

It sounds to me that you don't need less dailys but that you're wanting mroe of them. I'm assuming you don't have much time to play as WQ+CS can be done inside of 90 minutes and BH is new, plus the time commitment varies. WQ particularly in the mid-late 70's is not worth the time it takes. You can get far better exp elsewhere. At 76 I was getting 230k an hour in Nightscream Island by using an envoy of justice, an esoterica, and selling DQ drops. I still came out ahead on coin too.

Honestly, daily quests rock. I understand what you mean when you say you have to do things over and over, but look at it from the standpoint of your exp. If you do CS+WQ in 90 minutes, then play for another 60, where you grind out 2 mobs/minute for an hour at lets say 350 exp, you're looking at ~261k exp for your playtime. Then there's someone who plays 6 hours, does those quests, they have another 3.5 hours to grind for about 335k exp for their playtime. Those quests help you keep up in levels to an extent. The game would be a lot less fun for everyone if in another couple months all players were either 20-50 or 90+.

    OK, let me repeat.
Daily is not a must, I never said it is.
And they are good, too good so that skipping them is not an realistic for most people.
Because of that, it makes harder to find party for other stuff.
