Decompose items

How do you do it and where? Really, I'm confused on this...

    You decompose it at whatever craftsman NPC creates/sells it. In other words, weapons are decomposed at the Blacksmith, armor at the Tailor, and accessories at the Craftsman. You also need whatever level crafting skill would be needed to create the item in the first place.
