    I've been wondering if there is some way to transfer items between characters on the same server. Is there a way?

      Mail to yourself or, if you don't mind the small risk - walk both characters to a secluded spot, drop items from one on the ground, relog and pick them up.

      Belial's first suggestion is the safest, but if you opt for the second option, may I suggest that you get both of your characters to the secluded spot first before you drop and log out-- that way your second character will already be in the spot and ready to pick up immediately rather than having to travel to the location after the drop has already been made.

      You can also have a friend hold your stuff. Then bring your mule or whatever in and have your friend trade it back. Its free and safe.

      b:shocked Yes you're right - definitely walk both characters to the same spot! Items dissapear if not picked up within a time limit (5 minutes?), so you have to be mindful of that.

      If you decide to mail it and it's a valuable item, first have the recipient character send a letter to the character holding the item. When you send the item, you can reply to the letter. That way you avoid any chances of giving someone with a similar name a really nice present because you made a typo in the name.

      I personally think the only time it would be appropriate to drop items or have your friends "mule" it is if you had a significant amount of items to transfer or absolutely could not afford the 500 coins required to mail something.

      Safest way is by mail. Itemdrop is just too risky.
