just curious.

is this the final ring for most BMs and Barbs?


as this ring solves the lack of accuracy that most BM have as they are axes built.

However, higher level rings have more physical attack.

So, in this case the accuracy benefit compensates for less attack per hit?

RRARRRRGGHHH - Sanctuary

I would say there are three possible rings for any melee character to consider.

1. Misty forest ring: At only 33 chips now it is the least expensive, as well as has huge bonus to accuracy, and a nice boost to vit.

2. Ring of mastadons strength: Basically take a misty, up its grade, and trade 20% accuracy for +2% crit, really the call of what you would prefer is up to you, more accuracy or more crit, the mastadons is also alot more expensive and gives less vit, but is higher grade so has higher + attack and better refine bonus. Oh and it autobinds, so if your replace it with sign of frost later on you will end up destroying it.

3. Sign of frost: chaos:....this ring is the lunar uber ring for melee class so to speak, giving +3% crit, and +50% accuracy, as well as +200 magic resist...its pretty insane, but probably the hardest of these to manufacture.

There is of course also the highest rank ring...giving a massive +4% crit, and a -6% channel, but no accuracy mods, and is almost impossible to get.

I would say higher physical attack if its like one grade higher is not a huge factor, considering it dosent really add a whole lot to your damage, the mods on the ring are the decideing factor for the most part.
