You ever get a day in PW you really feel like it's not going well?

Well, I just made myself finish this fail day.
First thing in the morning I get killed by these stupid bunnies over trying to mine a stupid fine coal mine. Well at least a friend of mine found me a cleric so I was all good. Still I was a bit moody because it really shook me.

A long day ahead, fun events, adventures and I already managed to forget about this stupid start. Then I had finished all the dailies and other quests and I found some papers in my inventory.

The Authentic Work for Orchid Petalies. 30 mins to do it - so I was taking it easy. Used the scroll, autopathed into the nearest location and started killing them one by one. Carefully. Taking it easy yeah.
5/20 - doing well, friend talking about being in RB for the first time.
10/20 - discussing other's HP and gear.
15/20 - other people talking on vent about i-dont-remember.
19/20 - shooting the last one, suddenly everything stops and... I hear that annoying sound when you DC from vent. Game window shows I got disconnected. "It's over", I think. I thought it was my brother fooling around again, but when I went to ask... "There was a powercut". Yeah. Like a one-second-long powercut (my Laptop has battery so it doesnt switch off when that happens).

So, I try to connect myself back again, but I have some stupid internet program that doesn't allow me for some idk what reason. So I had to restart the compu.
By the time I made it back online:
1) My AW timer was up
2) The quest had failed
3) The Orchid Petali had killed me

In conclusion I lost
1) 2% exp
2) A scroll with it's 10k exp reward
3) My nerve

Well, there's nothing you people can do to help and I'm not asking for it - just wanted to blurb it out, because if I didn't do that, I seriously would have thrown the nearest thing (which apparently is the laptop) into the wall. So I'm not complaining or blaming here. Just... Pouring.

Lol, I think everyone had one of those days.

Try this: you're in a rebirth delta, you reach the final boss for your first time and like the 5th on server, and the servers go down for maintenance without an announcement 10 minutes before schedule
I wanted to rip my hair our that time haha

Edit: would like to add to my first post that the loss wasn't so critical at all. I don't care about exp so much any more, because I need to have spirit and need to grind as much coin as possible anyway.
I just couldn't take the idea of what happened. Just ONE was left and I could have taken off... But no, the powercut didn't care to wait another 20 seconds.

Everyone has those days. I had a day like that that went so bad I didn't go back to the game for 3 days O_o

Started off we were doing fb39. And of course, I got killed by taking on too silly magic spamming mobs. And the faction reaction was "How? O_o", like dying wasn't possible at 6x. And...yeh, 2 clerics ready and I hit "return to town". Went on from there to me solo grinding, getting dc and dying in the middle of nowhere. Annoyed, I turned to questing, only to end up taking 2 hours on these horrible pyrogolith things, that swarm together. Hit one and you agro like 4. Got killed twice there. I asked faction for advice, response being "How? We never have any trouble O_o". -.- And while I'm talking, I get agro'd. And run. Into Khewy. -.- Not to mention I farmed like 5/20 mats I saw that day because EVERY time I went over, some mount would zip in and nab it.

Mebbe it wouldn't have gotten to me so much, but things weren't going well in real life. Was just the wrong time for a crazy run of bad luck. b:surrender

This morning I went to the bounty hunter.

He assigned me to kill Zimo. So I go around looking for a squad to kill Zimo.

Eventually I get one, it's me a lvl 74 cleric, 2 mages and 2 venos.


I ask the veno's if either has a herc, they say no but that they have magmites.

I say we need to either get a herc or a barb but they keep insisting they can tank Zimo with their magmites.


So we go and we get into the FB. I put in the wines we run over to Zimo.

I sharpened tooth the boss and both magmites attack the boss.

I wait for the magmites to do more damage, they are attacking the boss the venos are both healing one.

After about 4-6 seconds both of them die. Zimo then attacks one of our mages and two shots him. The venos res the magmites and try to tank again. It goes a bit better this time with the pets lasting an entire 45 seconds. But they die All the DD die except me.


Our cleric ends up tanking Zimo with me being the only Damage Dealer. (I feel bad for the cleric, he **** a pretty good portion of his MP charm)


So I FINALLY finish bounty hunter. I see a guy in WC getting a party together for a RB Beta. I decide to go ahead and join. We go into the RB, as soon as we get in there my squad starts running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

I heard lots of great phrases such as:

WTF IS AN AURA???!!!
What are beans?
Where are the mobs?
Was I supposed to heal? (not making that one up)


The Mobs pretty much killed us in about 15 seconds the only people who had even the slightest clue as to what they were supposed to do were me and some barb.

Basically, every "day" in PW is like this for me.

My connection is ****, and disconnects me quite often. So I'm always losing exp because I disconnect and come back dead. I know I'm only lvl 42, but trying to complete a quest and dieing several times, the exp I lose trying to do it because I die so much is just a waste of my time. Thank god for cstone..

And for the record, I say "day" because sometimes I get so pissed off all I can stand is an hour or so.

Actually, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix my connection so it doesn't disconnect so much, that'd be great.

I usually let the LA archer tank and let him go all out on his dmg XD

OMG, that was one of my experiences with rebirth (well, actually my second), but whatever. Anyway, we had the squad ready for action and we go inside. One of them goes, "Where do the mobs come from?" and "Who am I supposed to talk to?" I tell them who they are supposed to talk to and they do. And the rest of the squad is looking at the NPCs while I'm shouting "GET OVER HERE! THE MOBS ARE COMING!" They stay over there.... I repeat. They stay. And then they come. ZOMG they are caught by surprise and killed, including me. They go to Happy Valley and are like all saying "We have to collect the celebeans to get the exp" like by dying they get some sort of reward. I try to explain to them that the celebeans are only for the aura, but they do not listen. By now, Harpy Wraith was dead and I figured out I had wasted my time. Some of them didn't even know how to leave instance and I'm thinking in my head "Dude, don't you see the pillar that says "Leave Instance" over top of it? You're standing right next to it..." The next day, I leveled to 56.
