Some did Bounty Hunter 2 times today?

I am curious to find out why some people were able to do 2 bounty hunter quests today, although I am only able to get 1? b:sad

    Their is no official word about this, but most of the posts I have seen about people doing it 2x today were much higher levels. Maybe that has something to do with it? Then again it could be a glitch, but it might be my suggestion as well.

    If you didn't do the one yesterday and accepted the quest, you can do it today two times. The one from yesterday and the new one from today. I do the same with World quest or Crazy Stone

    Yeah, I dunno why everyone logs in at 11:40 pm to do CS, waits until after 12:00 am, then does CS again. All you have to do is accept the CS quest at any time on the first day (takes all of 30 seconds from double-clicking Perfect World). Then any time in the second day you finish the pending CS quest, turn it in, immediately pick up the second day's CS quest, and do it again. No need to fight the lag caused by everyone trying to do it twice around midnight.

    Though I suppose you could use this to do CS three times in a 30 minute span around midnight.

    Here's what happened to me. I patched and logged back on last night at around 2 AM PST. Got the new Bounty Hunter quest which required me to kill Linus. I did a few things then logged off and went to bed. This morning I woke up and did FB79, killing Linus. I went to turn in the quest and waiting for me was another Bounty Hunter quest. This one required me to kill Ethereal Abomination.

    There was no reset. This happened all in the same day. I did my OHT daily last night before logging off and it hasn't reset yet. The reset happens at midnight PST which is still 1 hour away. My theory is that it also resets at Noon PST as well as Midnight. Several of my faction mates got the Ethreal Abomination quest, but not the Linus one.

    Yeah now that I think about it, I finished Linus before noon. So, my theory's out the window.

    It was either a programmed bonus first run, or a first day of activation glitch.

    Yesterday I got Linus and Abomination.

    Today it start right away with Abomination.

    Linus at reset... Brigand now...
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    I just hope im not stuck with Cenequus Polearm everyday until i reach level 90. I'd rather kill FB89 bosses than the last 2 FB69 ones.

    I could use some variety here I was looking forward to this being more fun than WQ but it seems even less exciting so far b:chuckle. I had hoped for some world bosses to be included in this as well and not only FB ones. Maybe they should give less of a reward since u wouldn't need wine then.
    Of course the option between a world boss or a FB boss would be even greater when activating quest, but something that complicated is beyond my wildest expectation.


    And before Reivi comments this. I did play Camelot for 5 years until everyone who gave a decent fight had left, leaving only the zergling infestation behind.

    if most people of the same lvl range get the same quest how the hell are they supposed to all kill a WB with a 24hr respawn? and if this is less borring that wq then you must looooooove dull things in life.

    did damned gaurnoub (and all other bosses in 69) last night with a squad of mid to high 80's and a 90 in it and got 2 molds one of which being the Tauran Cape

    It does vary, not sure by how much though.

    Yesterday: Last Two fb69 bosses
    Today: One fb69 and One fb79 boss

    Well yes to me FB dungeons are extremely boring. The 20/20/20 quests almost killed me. And since they removed stamps after FB59 in our version of the game there's no point in clearing dungeon. All I'm saying is that killing the last 2 FB69 bosses wined everyday for 10 lvls isn't much of a change in a quest that could have been more fun. And afaik WB's dont have 24hr respawn not ones like King, Slither, Jewel, Krimson, Mantavip, the 3 swamp ones, Silver Frost, Yan, Ogre Chief etc. and some higher lvls ones I haven't had quests for yet. Maybe all the 150 ones do but, even if they didn't 1-2 hit the few ppl i play with, they would take forever to kill for normal ppl like myself.

    And i didn't say the FB69 bosses were impossible just hard if u don't have a well built squad for it with a good tank and 2 clerics (or 1 good high lvl multitasking one). The other bosses can be done with a lot of other setups including pets tanking. But since ur a barb i can see the advantage of u easily getting a squad for FB69 quests. I mostly duo with my GF 2x Venos and for us its pretty hard to get in a wined FB69 squad and almost impossible to get in the same squad. Unless ofc we provide the wine every time then ppl might let us join.

    As for drops.... I never had much luck on molds on untabbed FB bosses so to me its just the same if i get 10 stacks of coins in a FB or just 1 outside.

    So it would appear some people are still getting two bosses a day?
    Yesterday I had linus inside fb79 (much like everyone else), but I never got the option to kill ethereal abomination like some people.
    Also, with my veno alt I only got cenequus inside fb69. Again, only that one.
    Today, it was just brigand...

    Could a GM shed some light on this please?

    Yeah i have recieved 2 x bounty hunter on both days so far. The same bosses both days though. Fb69 parties ftw.

    As far as I know, the people who logged right after maintenance received two bounties if they picked it up. I don't know if its the same case for today. If so, that's sorta annoying / unfair to those who don't stay on till the dailies "reset".

    I got one yesterday for Myriad and then another for Pyrosteosis (FB69). I havnt checked today but i hope i get 2 more! Plus Pyro dont take but like 10 minutes to get to wined, and i Tanked my own FB69 so no worries there ^^

    I did an fb99 Hell (helped b/c needed for culti and others needed for Bounty) and I got the Cape of Elite Leather. Then did the fb79 for my Bounty and got the Proud Plate of Cosair. We got nothing on the 2nd fb79 run for Linus.

    It was a good day for mold drops and 600k exp, how can you not be happy!!! b:cute

    I provided the wines and asked for any Cleric books and the squad said I could call the Cape too since I provided wines. Low and behold it dropped!! LOL! It was the Pro squad of myself, level 100 BM, level 101 archer, 2 level 100 archers and level 100 Cleric b:victory

    It is currently resting in Bank for later use!!

    I think i figure out how boss works. Each hour of a certain day is set to one boss. Anyone of the same level that get the quest within the same perset time spam will be the same boss. If you wait til the next set of time spam kicks in, you will get another boss. And it is possible to stack bounty hunter on each other. In fact, i have 2 bounty hunter quests stacked right now.

    i did 1 bounty quest yesterday in 79... today i got 2 off the npc.
    didnt finish 1 b4 other there were just 2 in the availbale quests so 900k in 2 days of exp.

    is this a bug or is it random O.o btw i always log off b4 the server 'resets' and i dont stack dailies else i get lazy nd dont finish...
