Crystalline Magmite Vs. Volcanic?

Is there any real discernible difference between the two? I have a Volcanic and my bro has a crystalline, and I see no difference except that the bash skill is lvl 2 for Cry.

Is one better? (besides the skill being default 1 for volcanic and 2 for crystal. )

    For all pets of the same type (e.g: Magmites), the rule is:

    Pets caught at lower levels will get better stats
    Pets caught at higher levels will start with better skills

    Since you can buy skills, it's generally considered better to get the lower level pet (in this case Crystalline) ... but that's of course assuming you're willing to spend a lot of coin on skills. (And seeing as the Volcanic is only one level higher, I don't think the stat difference is terribly big - but you can probably find the exact difference if you search the forum a bit)
