    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    I am still getting used to my Wizard. So far I am not really impressed. Their skills seem a bit haphazardly spread out and there is no real cause to go "Elemental Purist" with them despite the fact that it almost seems like that is the idea with the Masteries. Their damage for all the talk seems relatively weak so far. I have seen Archers/Clerics/Fist Masters all dish out more DPS than a Wiz can and all can tank better ontop of it.

    Anyway, she is young yet so I am not going to drop her until I see more of what she can do...I am just hoping she does not continue to be so disappointing. (Going Pure with her atm but my Cleric could still out DPS her with one hand and 50 vit tied behind her back)

    they suck less at 60...but I would say that after 70 is when things get easier (except in PvP)...at 80 you point and laugh at everyone else...you kill mobs faster and don't get hit (well maybe once)...and from 70+ you start been a magic tank...how many times have I killed Mantavip...oh too many b:chuckle

    I wuv mah wizard! fear teh magic noob hamster!!~ (>.<) I started this game as an archer but decided it wasn't for me so i rolled a wizard and wuved it ever since ^.^ me am super squishy though D:

    i wouldnt play any other class :) wizzy ftw XD
    the only thing i dont like is how i cant get into squads... verry hard to find help...
    eg. ff runs to get curvades... tt runs... BH etc
    all other classes dont like wizzy's cos they r jealous b:victory

    the most fun i have in pwi is when im in a squad of 3 wizzy barb and cleric

    I still get super frustrated in duels, but 1 more lvl to sultra might help things.

    I still ***** and moan about BM being able to stun lock an entire duel yet i cant have a freaking knockback on my Will of the Phoenix? NeRfEd

    If knockbacks worked melee's wont stand a chance. Heck, you'll see cata pullers flying backwards; as funny as taht would be to watch it just doesn't work.

    Mages aren't meant to duel, just don't duel. You fail at a PvP no matter what pre-89. Even after 89 it's not all glory untill your 100, or so they say.

    From all my experise with wizards I have to say that they're way to squishy, LA or Pure. Let me explain: If you fight something with increased life your gunna die, If you fight something with increased magic defense your gunna die, if you get double teamed your gunna die, if you tank sucks and can't control aggro your gunna die, do I have to continue?

    Well all your "experise" doesn't seem to consist of something known as common sense, kite. A mage is really efficient in PvE if you know how to play. Unless of course your main is a barb and being the idiot you are, you aggro ten thousand mobs all at once and try to thank them thinking your a hero/Danika. Your gimp low level. Not so gimp once you become factor which is end game, in which case mages own.

    P.S No point having a mage if your not going to wait till end game, if otherwise delete char and re-roll.

    I have to agree with BrownflameZ. I'm just a first time Lvl 25 noob, But I tank for my GF's cleric and when I'm alone and my Wiz does fine. But I do get owned if i get doubled by creatures or ppl. =)
    I do win some duels but normally doesn't end well against BM's and Barbs.....DUH! =)

    Mage is an endgame class. They don't become what you imagine until level 100. If you don't want to get rolled in pvp go light armor until then. Light armor mage is quite good. Mage is pretty fun too, my second favorite class.
