    After awhile reading this thread, you start highlighting everything, just in case there's ninja text somewhere. So, if you want to use it, you gotta be sneaky about it, like a ninja.

    If it's not fake, imagine what that would mean for all those in a pvp server. 3x's suddenly able to kill 8x's. People able to get all the best equips. Players flying without aerogears. It would be madness, MADNESS I SAY!!!!!!

    Look at your chat window in game. It's transparent unless you mouse over it, in which case it is still mostly see through. There's no area I know of that would produce a solid black background for the text.

    There is an option to chance the background to different transparencies including an opaque solid colour.

    Edit number 2: actually. Its pretty solid when its directly over grass.

    Edit number 3: Nope, just related to my monitor having both brightness and contrast at near 0.
