    Have you read the rest of the forums here? Just spend a few minutes reading the general discussion. That should give you a really good idea of the kinds of things that could potentially keep a GM busy. That and the hundreds upon hundreds of tickets that get sent in, and there's quite a bit that would keep their attention off of something like this.

    I took French in High school, and a year of Chinese (I don't even remember any of it anymore). Then I ended up taking two more semesters in French in college.

    Yeah. You can't just pick it up and be fluent at it. Here's the comparison.

    Spanish = Psychics -- Easy to pick up and a very slight curve in usefulness. Once you learn the basics, you're pretty much good.

    Japanese = Wizards -- Harder learning curve, but once that hurdle is surpassed, the rest of it is pure cake.

    Well, for that basic level of French, just make sure you remember the four biggest irregulars: etre, avoir, aller, and faire. Just about everything in French involves one of those in some form (the first two in particular).

    And just wait till you get more in depth. So many different tenses and each of them have so many rules you need to know. It is so much fun!
