    ...you've obviously never played my friends. They can read moves and counter like nothin'. I usually get three-stocked against most anyone there, and they play "low tier" characters.

    While I've never played against your friends, I do understand the game. A complete and utter Brawl virgin actually managed to win a couple of matches lately. He's had a couple of months practice, sure, but he managed to pull a win out against some of us at our best. Most of us have been playing since the days of the original, and through Melee, and onto Brawl, so we've pretty much mastered everything in several games. We've gone from actually choosing our characters to just setting it to random, because we've already figured out every last one of them as well as the optimal tactics for them all.

    Thing is, though, a newer player doesn't know. So there's no mind games you can play with them. They'll pull some crazy moves out of their **** in their random flailings, something you can't prepare for, or expect. They'll avoid the most powerful moves, and stick with something you wouldn't dream of trying because they like the way it works. It's a bit ironic, really. The most challenge I get is from the people who play the least. I can't read them, I can't prepare, and it causes me to play at my best, off of pure instinct.

    I do like Tekken and Soul Calibur too but I like Smackdown vs Raw also. I love just about every videogame except shooters (Well depends... Call of Duty is nice and Metal Gear)/ sports (Well... if wrestling is a sport. Oh and NBA Ballers) and racing ones >.>. The only racing game that I'm not bored with is Twisted Metal/ Extreme G Racing/ ATV Off Road Fury and Road Rash because you get to shoot and hit people. Especially Road Rash, spray your opponent and they go blind and run into a car and go flyingb:chuckle I'm evil.

    But thanks guys for the vido game rant that wasnt really a rant. So who plays Mystic Heroes? Err... what about Mario Party? Tarzan (Yes, I have the game and its fun.)? Bloody Roar?

    @Lairian and Isala:Actually its not about button mashing(if you two ever played the games in case) for both Tekken and Soul Calibur there is more skill needed then just plain button mash (in which case i think Mario bla bla Smash or w/e the name is,name already says all...)you need to time your hits,parry and counter attacks in both of those games and its needed a lot of time to actually fully grasp the Tekken fighting mechanics.
    So before giving comments of "button mashing" try the game out and see since Tekken is more then a mere "button mashing" game.
    And if nothing else then try out one of the newest King of fighters.

    Truthfully the only button mashing game I played is well... KH2 Press Triangle Triangle TRIANGLE! Lol but it's MKvsDC

    Yeah, I know that there's a lot that goes into those games, but still. You have to admit that it's a great deal easier to button mash with games that have those long combos than it is in Smash.
