Gear Randomly Unequipping

Had anyone else had this problem?

I will be with mobs or just milling around. I check my inventory and behold one of my equipped armor/ornaments is sitting in my inventory unequipped. b:surrender

I very, very rarely touch my armor/ornaments so I find this a little odd.

Is it just me? I never had this problem before the patch and I am very aware of my stats buffed and unbuffed at all times.

    It is sitting in my inventory, just not equipped. It is the oddest thing.

    I have asked in guild and some say they have had it happen a few times before the patch.

    I have NEVER had it happen until after this new patch.

    I just do not want it to randomly drop out of my inventory. b:sad

    Worst is ---> I do not know when it happens!!! I just am always checking my inventory and character screen (habit from newbie days) and that is how I find out.

    It's a little bit of a glitch. But it's been going on for me since i joined. Just gotta have a sharp eye and keep a lookout.

    <- stupid question.. but can you assign gear/weapons to like.. slots like you can with spells/potions/mounts? Maybe somehow one of your slots have a piece of gear on it o.o

    I use a hotkey for my weapon if that is what you mean.

    hm, nvr knew you could hotkey gear, maybe that has something to do with it? I doubt its possible.. but its a thought.. maybe some gear of yours has "cross-macrod" with a spell? idk >:

    It's actually just a random glitch. Sometimes you open your inventory and click, and for some reason the game "right clicks" one of your equipments, thus detaching it.

    What's even worse it when it left clicks in your inventory and you drag something valuable out into public.

    Just be careful with how you position and layer your windows in-game.

    Also be careful with what you put into hotkeys and macros.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    Thing is...none of my armor is in my hotkeys. Only my weapon.

    And I have 2 macros: (1) healing and (2) attack.

    That is why this is odd and none of my windows ever layer b:sad

    I really hate this. Although I haven't lost anything yet, the equipped item appearing in my inventory has happened before.

    A guildmate lost his Swiftshadow by this and was pretty much SOL.

    That is what I am concerned about. If I lose something I will not be happy!!!

    This is why. Or more accurately, it happens when you happen to be right-clicking on the screen when you open your inventory. Just be careful and you should be fine.

    Ok...I could see this IF I was right-clicking on something.

    I am talking about a situation in which I open my inventory with keyboard to look at it. Close it with keyboard to look at it and then close it again with keyboard. There has been no interaction with the mouse at all. And the next time I look an armor/ornament is unequipped.

    But I guess I am stuck just watching out for it b:surrender

    Try logging out and running Verify.

    Also try shutting down and restarting your PC.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    I have done all verification and the like. I have a family of PC "nerds" (as I lovingly call them ), so I know my computer and the program is fine.

    I will just continue to watch out for it.

    Hey Reds is their anything equipped in the slot where the un-equiped equipment used to be. Just wondering if you are dragging something in your inventory and the game actually right clicks instead of left clicking, and equips something else. This happens to me quite often b:sad

    Nope.....I do not touch anything that is equipped unless refining. b:surrender

    Nothing else is in there.

    This happens when you are looking around with right-click and while doing that opening your inventory with b and then your invisible pointer happens to be on a piece of equip. Im 100% sure about this :O

    And then you close your inv then release right-click later. Then when you check inv again something is unequipped :O

    Wait....the second part of my explenation is a bit wrong. Just tried it again and it doesn't work completely as I said. I had to release right-click while still in inv. But if I release right-click and close inv a split second after that then something gets unequipped. But im still sure its not a glitch that randomly unequips stuff...
