Is 2 accounts on 2 different computer allowed?

Somebody told me that PWI does not allow 1 person to have 2 seperate accounts on 2 separate computers. Is that true?

    No, You can have 2 accounts as long as they aren't logged on at the same time on the same computer, 1 account per computer. so you're fine.

    Thanks. Now I can create a personal cleric to follow me around and heal/res me. Sick of losing experience from dying.

    Just to be clear, in order to actually "DO IT" you would have to use a third party program to initiate it to even be able to get it done. Using another program in any way within the programming of PW is against their TOS. Even more... its illegal since they own all the rights, and such. Yeah.... thats a good reason to "NOT DO IT"

    Like BratFury said when you downloaded and installed the game you agreed not to modify the content of the files in any way along with other things that i think you should have a look.

    Not quite but close, It the modifing of the files of PWI that is against the TOS. Otherewise they would have to even ban ppl for using things such as Fraps even vent and that could be considered under how you described it.

    To put it simple as it can be 1 PWI client per pc.

    This pretty much states that modifying anything for any reason at any time is cause for termination. PERIOD! I took this directly off the TOS. That would include but is not limited to ANY MODIFICATION WHATSOEVER!!

    We can safely say they do allow video recording devices.

    At this point and time there is a lot they apparently are allowing, doesn't mean they can't follow thru with their terms of service when they see fit.

    So would running PWI clients in virtualised environments on the same PC be allowed? Cause it doesnt require modifying any PWI files or such.

    No, its is not allowed. You can not use virtual machine or anything else to run 2 clients on the same computer. This question has been asked numerous times on here and the GM response is always the same.

    Well they held a video contest that required the use of some sort of recording software in order to even participate. I don't think they'll be banning for fraps ever. :p

    The idea is to not let you use anything that can possibly change the gameplay.

    No, its is not allowed. You can not use virtual machine or anything else to run 2 clients on the same computer posted by BratFury

    dude the topic was about if using one account on one computer and a second account on another computer was allowed or not and no u don't need to use virtual machine or anything else its called auto follow when u have 2 comps running 2 different accounts all u gotta do is pay attention to your alt so he doesn't die while helping your main

    As has been already stated, you can run two or more accounts ONLY if they are on separate computers. You cannot run two accounts by any means on the same computer.
