I just got rid of everything I own for the DS and have converted to a PSP finally. b:cute

    DS.

    I dropped mine and broke the hinge so it's awkward to open and close now. I don't have many games for it and I haven't played it much in ages.

    Best. Game. Ever. I bought it about a year ago...I'm still playing it with the same enjoyment since when I got it.

    Tough call. DS is, overall, better (graphics excluded). But PSP has Crisis Core D:

    I vote PSP only because it has Monster Hunter on it.
    I've spent over 400 hours on it and counting... ;)

    Aside from that, the DS lives up to the whole "handheld" better since its games are designed for a short term car ride / subway ride more than the PSP games.
    With the PSP... you just gotta keep turning it off between car rides, cause the games feel so... lengthy.

    I should've added that I only have a DS. My sister has a PSP as well though.

    PSP. I hate Sony with a burning passion, but the only reason I have one is because I never pay for games and they're easy to pirate games for. Also PSP homebrew is fun.

    Wow, that sounds exactly like me. I dropped mine about a week after I got it, and of course the warranty doesn't cover that.
    I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. And as I wondered, I also thought about how I couldn't remember having those dreams before being bitten by this very big dog...

    DS. PSP doesn't have great games like Knights in the Nightmare

    Nope. Not enough reasons. Ouendan is still better than any and all games on PSP (barring Hatsune Miku's "Project Diva"). You get Ouendan on the PSP, and we'll talk.

    I'd rather play games on something that was designed specifically for playing games.

    It IS possible to play DS games on a PSP. I could get ya a pic with my webcam if i would be home right now.

    I don't know Quendan, but if it's a PSX,DS,GBA,GBC,SNES i can play it. Atleast if you don't need that dumb touch thing or w/e the DS got.

    Edit: Oh and btw Kona, never say that a DS game is better than all other PSP games. My taste doesnt fit yours, and in my eyes nothin's better than Final Fantasy 7 : Crisis Core.

    I haven't failed, I'm just young, German, and don't know all vocabulary.

    Then it's a point of taste. This "Quendan" thing is a huge fail for me. I hate it, but like i said point of taste. W/e, the PSP is just better because it's multi-media.

    If you just want a console for playing, DS is better for you ofcourse.

    This "Quendan" is just known as an English word, in Germany it's just known as Touchscreen. Hooray for me, I already thought that I wouldn't know an English word.

    I agree with Monochrom that Crisis Core is better than any DS game >_> Though I find the DS games better overall, hopefully even more when Golden Sun 3 is released *_*

    I can just download it then. :P But yea, DS got much nice games which I'm playing too. It's just a point of taste, on the games atleast.

    Crisis Core is a Steampunk Phantasy Star Online/Universe/Portable.

    Really, it's the exact same game, only Phantasy Star is Cyberpunk and made by SEGA.

    I got a wicked deal on a new PSP3000 and two games. Only paid 40$

    I traded in the original DS, supermario64, new supermario, Zelda, Children of Mana, Spanish Coach, Some Mind game, Tiger 05, Dauschounds, Starwars 2.

    Then got a 4 gig stick for 24$.

    Reasoning behind the switch.

    Better graphics (does not make a game good, I know b:cute)
    Tired of bad mario and Zelda titles (In my opinion remember)
    Have wanted a good Golf game on the go.
    Really wanted Crisis Core.
    Looking forward to the FF Fighter.
    Hopefully some nice 4 wheeling games to pass short periods of time.

    I prefer the DS more, cuz it has more better games IMO. I only use psp mostly to listen music atm.

    And Crisis Core vs Phantasy Star? Please, take just a little look at the story and you will see the HUGE difference.

    Even though, there's a Phantasy Star for the PSP already.

    The original Phantasy Star games were Dungeon Crawlers. They had a much more expansive story, besides, I hate Final Fantasy.

    Well I don't know about the "original" Phantasy Star games. But if you don't like FF, and don't know about it then it's impossible for you to say that the story of Crisis Core isn't that well. Why do you think Final Fantasy 7 is one of the most famous games ever created? Definitely not because of the fight system.

    Anyways, I don't want to argue about the PS-Story because i just don't know it. For me, FF7 is better. Matter of taste.

    I had 4 DS in less than a year and they just keep breaking. So fragile especially since the top screen snaps easily.

    The only thing I really play on the DS is pokemon stuff. :P


    PSP is very uncomfortable. Holding it is a pain!
    I like how the PSP has more available RPG games on it.
    I usually just play RPG and a few first man shooters.

    Mh guess this uncomfortability matters with your hands or something. I can hold it 16 hours without any pain at all D: But well, my hands are big lol.
    But I'm addicted to all stuff of Sony though, like the PS2 Controllers. ^^
