so ya im lvl 63 now, and i still have lvl 1 wield thunder, i havent lvled it up yet well to be honest i have no idea why. i love my w. thunder its my best metal move, i have my heals with better lvls and only 3 attacks r at high lvls. i mean i know from friends that tempest is a pain to lvl. so again is lvling wield thunder till later lvls a smart move or should is save cash and spirit for w. thunder? plz and tyb:victoryb:victory

    ^That's exactly what I do! Except I don't understand how to use marcos....

    Anyways, my Wield Thunder wasn't leveled until I finished other important skills. Tempest can always come last in my opinion though. Don't forget about Metal Mastery too (if you have the spirit + money to).

    Basically its creating a combo with your skills. Hit the "R" to open up ur skills, if you look towards the bottom, you will see the word "combo", next you will see "edit" "new" "delete"... click "new", another box will open enabling you to create a combo. First look for the W.T. skill, click and hold then drag the W.T. icon into the empty slot (note: there are 8 empty slot which mean u can place up to 8 skills. (also, if you notice there are multiple icons to represent your combo or macro, however you wanna call it) Next drag cyclone next to W.T., then drag plume, and repeat this for cyclone and plume... after ur done, click save. Now you have a macro! Next drag the macro icon into either 1-9 slot or f1-f8 slot. and ding! ur doneb:victory

    At your lvl I dont think it's really needed, cyclone and plume should be enough already. It will do more damage then those single attacks, but keep in mind it will use more mana then both those attacks combined (And you wont get the damage of both attacks combined)

    I'd say save coin, but dont be in a hurry to pump it into the skill just yet. You will have other needs for the coin before hand

    You save mana not using it which lets yeah grind more, = win

    WT didn't really start being useful for me until my mid-70s.
    By then, I had gotten my metal mastery pretty high up (or maxed) and I started noticing it was doing a lot more damage than plume.
    Before that, it was only doing a few 100 more damage and not worth it.
    Now I use it all the time. Even in the middle of a fight.

    I use WT all of the time. It's the lead attack on my macro. WT is currently maxed and does an average damage of 9-10K. When I get a crit with it I break 20K. At high level another good one to have maxed is Razor Wings.

    I would do what this person did and get metal mastery lvled up before this though I want tempest.

    ty, and ya my wield thunder does considerbly good dmg, around 2.5k to 3k, ty for your replies

    but, as mentioned by one person before...

    wield thunder is far less efficient with mana usage and damage dealt than cyclone and plumeshot are.

    and as said in cayeon's guide (the gist of it anyway)... if you're not in a big hurry, save yourself some mana and cast some cyclone and plumeshot instead of WT.

    but if you are in a hurry to do alot of metal dmg, spark and wt>cyclone or spark and cyclone > wt > cyclone can dish out a good bit of metal dmg in a short time :)
    i'm pro all classes, and against none in particular..
    but the age old QQ about venos is just that. OLD.

    Weild Thunder + Metal Mastery = b:shocked

    Metal Mastery is all around good to have due to it increasing the effectiveness of *all* your metal attacks without using any mana. This is also really useful after maxing out Great Cyclone in 5x.

    As for Tempest ... maybe I'm just too low lvl, but 7 or 8 out of 10 times that I use it are followed by someone having to res me. b:chuckle The only times I've ever had real luck with it have been on near dead bosses and much lower level mobs. b:surrender
