So i never ever got how the crafting and refining processed worked for idk how long i'ved played [3 months?]
I was wonder:
What refinement does...
Do dragon orbs have anything to do with it...
Are the refinements the ones that add bonus stats to gear/weapons?
etc.. if you could add in more about refining and crafting system, that'd be great
b:shocked im such a noob

I'm a new player so I am sure that other players can give you a much better answer but from what I gather they increase most if not all the stats of the weapons making them stronger. Dragon Orbs I think are the items that makes the refinement 100%.
Not sure which levels but as you go into the high refinement levels (by refining the same item multiple times) the success rate starts to drop and if you fail... The item reverts to it's original form and you loose the stones you used attempting to refine it.0 -
I'll give you some basic info ...
Crafting gives you a chance of making 2* (around 30%) or even 3* (around 3%) items. Each * increases the equipment's stats. You also have a chance of sockets (up to 2 for weapons, 4 for armour - no sockets on ornaments). Finally, you also have a chance at various bonuses (more *'s generally mean more/better bonuses, but it's all random)
Refining lets you take an existing item and improve it, which increases one stat and add a + to your weapon. You can refine right up to +12, but be prepared to mortgage your house (joking ... but not by much :O). Refining is done at an elder, and requires Mirage Celestones (2 for weapons, 1 for everything else). Dragon Orbs are not required, but I highly recommend them - they ensure that the refinement works. Otherwise there's a chance the refinement will fail, which could even mean that the weapon loses all refinement you've done to it so far. I don't need the exact chance of failure, but it's pretty high - and gets higher with each level of refinement. Note that you need the appropriate level Dragon Orb (e.g: 3 star Dragon Orb to refine a +2 item up to +3).

You can take a look at equipment there, and see there what each * and + will give you.0 -
