Straight from the patch notes:
Balance - Blademaster only. If own DEF is higher than Elemental Resistance (average value of the five RESISes), adds a shield to yourself, which absorbs Magical Damage. If own Elemental Resistance is higher than DEF, adds a shield absorbing Physical damage. The amount it absorbs is depend on the value of DEF or RESIS. The shield will disappears after the time's up or reached the maximum absorbing amount. When the shield is on, immune to Stun.

    yeah they say they "balanced" something. IMO All light and arcane users could have used a "PDEF" skill as well.

    What's important is how much the shield absorbs and how much energy it uses. If I use my phy marrow to maximize the shield, this will leave me with 0 mag resist. Will it be better than if I just turn on mag marrow?

    Depending on the situation it might be better to stick with wind shield. Anyway we'll see if it's game breaking.

    Warriors definitely needed a buff but depending on how good that skill is, they might have overdone it.

    Are you kidding me? The class with the 2nd highest hp that has the highest phy res and can also get a higher mag res than light armors and while still keeping a higher phy res at the same time need's another buff? ........

    I'm a lvl 96 wizard and I kill arcane users with raw magic skills easier than I kill a bm with marrow mag on(unless they are a full vit arcane).I won't even comment if the bm is a full vit build,it's much easier to kill a barb(genies not included) ,and that's not even taking stuns into consideration.
