There are so many boutique sales going on and I just want to know if you like these sales.
If you want, state your reason for liking/not liking the sales/events.

I should have a third option for "Indifferent" but I don't know how to change it now.

    I don't like the inflation that all of these sales have caused, but other than that I guess I'm indifferent.

    I don't like too many sales in a row like we've had recently. It drive the prices of gold in AH up.
    But I also understand that PWI need to make money....

    I'd rather see them more spaced out.

    They're just a filler for when content isn't coming out.

    It's too bad this game isn't actually in the process of being developed. I played a game once where they did weekly patches like this one, but when they didn't have patches, they released concept art and hints as to new content, new mobs, new quests, new villians/NPCs. It was kind of fun to discuss that stuff.

    That would be fun, but since all development is done in China, getting such materials and information may be a bit difficult for them.

    You can tell when theyre strapped for cash when they bring back jolly, straight after battle pack sale and in the middle of charm pack sale.

    Also, LOL @ perfect hammer for 1m coins in CoF.

    Your poll is missing the indifferent option.

    I'm indiferent about the sales themselves, think the gold inflation is probably a little too high, I would rather get content (opportunities for REP would be nice, something to make the grind seem less like so) and some less trashy fashion sets (three bikini, enough)...oh and I want to keep the all in one b:beatup b:kiss icon :D.

    i rather enjoy the sales, theyve made my needs; esotericas, charms, dragon orbs, etc cheaper over the past few weeks. note i pay coin to other players with the cheapest prices, i never buy gold. haggling > AH. and i make big bucks off them from buying cheap O:

    I don't think its all the sales that are the problem. People gripe and complain they want this or they want that. Then they get it, they are unsatisfied. This company has bent over backwards to appease the masses and still no 1 is happy. If its not content its boutique, can't anyone just be happy:?

    Like i said before until mods admins moved or deleted my topic :/ the new boutique items and sales are messing and changing the ingame coin value so much that its soon going to be impossible to afford anything with out days and days of preparation and saving or cash shopping.

    imo ruining the game.

    The game is still in development. But everything is done by the mother company in China, released there first, then translated and implemented here.

    Even though none of the recent events is anything I like, I like the fact they have events that change on a weekly basis.

    If there were never any changes, you would all complain that there are never any changes.


    STFU and play and enjoy the game for christ's sake already. =P

    I understand that, but the game that we have access to and our GMs have access to is the already developed stuff. =[

    This I can agree with. But its really not caused from the sales. Its caused from so many people the last 3 months getting such high levels and earning such high in game coins they can actually AFFORD to buy gold from A/h as opposed to spending real cash. I mean honestly if you could buy everything with your in game money wouldn't you?

    That is the reason less and less people are actually purchasing gold. That is what drives the price up. Yes, when there are "sales" people rush to buy more than normal and it temporarily increases the gold. And if they have sales back to back it stays at the increased price. But its been steadily increasing lately. Not so much due to the sales but more due to ppl being more rich in the game.

    Listen up everyone, defected is talking. Everyone shutup and read what I have to say-

    Gold sales are down. It's obvious. But like I said in another thread, the gold sales are a necessary evil. They need to entice people to buy gold or this game will go kaput. Imagine if NO ONE was selling gold in the AH. How would things be then? Imagine if there was no gold for sale... We'd still need gold, so when it was there, people would scoop it up for whatever price it was. It's simple supply and demand.

    The GMs are trying their best to get us to get more gold. It helps the game overall. PWI makes some money, players can continue to play "for free" with in game coins since in game prices would be lower.

    The only ones who don't seem to care are the cold hearted programmers in China. They seem to be the bottleneck of PWI's success. They don't fix stuff in a timely manner if at all and don't seem to respond well to our criticism of their changes. This, combined with our crappy economy (I'm talking in real life, not in game you buttfail noobs), creates a rift between PWI and its customers. Why buy gold when (insert QQ) isn't fixed? Why buy gold when (Insert awesome event) isn't implemented? Why buy gold when I can spend my money on something that I'm not bored of?

    I only did 2 TWs this weekend and my TW pay won't cover my charm usage. Well, not at the price gold has been in coins the past few months. Most of us do TW at a loss every week. Week after week after week. Considering a guild like Enrage has a majority of its player base burning up 3-4 charms a weekend... (That's the conservative side. I'd hate to have a barb's charm bill) I think I'll come back to this game when things have settled down. Seriously this time. Even the only thing really keeping me playing this game is driving me in the negative. I don't buy gold, I use in game coin. I used to do rebirth, but now that's bugged and doesn't work. But I guess that's just me. I'm sure no other level 9x+ is so bored that they're reduced to trolling the forums.b:surrender

    What can you do? Write a ticket. Air your dislike of the programmers to PWI staff. Or, do what others are doing and speak with your wallet...don't buy into the sales. Or do what I'm doing...take a long long break. Or, do what you're already doing....

    i dont like the inflation etc. BUT it makes the things i need cheaper so its kinda yes/no

    I like all the new stuff because people sell their old junk (armor, weap, mounts, etc) wayyy cheaper than before the sales therefore making it easier for me to get the stuff I want. GG

    E: I never buy gold from the AH so I don't really care about that; my mix of grinding off the % I need to level & farming mats in grind area will get me enough coins to buy any boutique items I may need (d. orbs, esotericas, etc) save for charms, which I don't use now anyway.

    Voted "no" instantly upon entry to the thread. The results are clear, PWI. Start listening.

    And I'll again say what I've been saying all week in various threads: we need more ZEN bonus events! That encourages people to buy more ZEN, thus creating more supply without an inflated demand... or perhaps just deflating the already-bloated demand.

    It's hard to care about a country halfway across the world with a significantly different economical and political system than yours. That said, I think the bottleneck is just communication between PWI (which I think is some kind of franchise, even) and PW China. How many suggestions get implemented (I'm talking about the ones that can actually happen, not the "CAN WE HAS CAR MOUNTS LOL" kind)?

    how long are the sales on for cuz me and my friend need jus a couple of days so we could buy a mount lol so plzzzz if u GMs could extend the sale plzzz. We are most likely the only people in our country of Trinidad and Tobago who plays Perfect World sooo plzzzzz extend the sales

    The only temporary sales at the moment are the spurs and platinum charms

    The mount prices have been permanently reduced and horses are permanent additions, so don't worry

    I'm annoyed at the constant sales,even though people are saying give us a break/space them out a bit to allow gold to fall in price,they keep coming thick and fast...the gm's have read the threads but won't listen though they've said they are.

    They must know something we don't and are pulling in record zen sales if they are continuing with this course of action,only reason i can think of.

    Ah well it first lost me a lot of money,now i've gained even more so i'm just gonna roll with all the changes they've said are coming(that means even more items are going to be on sale,and rareish items ingame are going to be fiddled with)and not sweat it,i'm beyond caring b:victory
