urgently new battle pets!

Well i think it’s time for some new battle pets for the venos.
Since the Hercules can be obtained, there are many problems, the tanks are become needless,
The venos without hercs are needless too, because the most don’t wants to play with venos which have no herc, and well …why do we have the class barbarian if everyone prefer the Hercules as a tank? Another benefit is that high lv venos with a herc can do the TT-runs alone and that’s unfair towards others.

And my problem with the herc is, that he is sooo ugly and fat and really almost every veno has a herc. That’s very boring when all have the same pets. And so there are no differences
Between us. The herc must gone. Please remove the Hercules from the cashshop and bring some new battle pets, which are better than the normal pets and not so strong that other classes become needless.

My suggestion is a snowleopard or a silver lightning wolf (more examples : Cerberus, iguana, unicorn) and for the air a little dragon or a raptor/ gryphon wing for example. Well it is dumb that now we have a dragon as a flying mount, it would have been great when it would be able to combine a dragon as a flying mount and additional as an air battle pet too. We have also no water battle pets, ok there are not many underwater quests so a special battle pet for the water is not so necessary.

It would be nice when the new battle pets would come to the cashshop for a certain time, so that not all can have always the same pets. Isn’t it more diversified if we can get from time to time some new battle pets like with the mounts too? And the same with the all class pets.
Always the same pets are available, that’s so boring.

Ok, at the beginning, I thought, that the herc would be nice and can help a lot. But after time, he becomes more and more a problem for me (as tank). I don't like the herc anymore, because of what you already said:

I do all my quests with a veno. And she hasn't a herc. But there is no need for it, cause I'm the tank. And we always survive and finish our quests.

So, GMs PLEASE do something against the herc!

Im agree with somethings.....

We need new rare pet's I saw some of they at others webs (here:http://www.ecatomb.net/petstat.php) like leopardine but not tameable yet, maybe they will implemented at PWI at futures updates also water pet's options is lame almost since lv51 until lv80 any water pet tameable between those levels.............

I got both legendary pets and I still doing Fb's, TT's and etc... with a Barb or BM as a tank my fat, ugly, yellow boy (true is soo ugly >.<) only help the tank.... but the difference is a veno with a Herc can help tanking without a cleric cuz can health the pet while the Herc get the damage and the Barb/Bm is hitting too without risk to die or be damaged I usually do it with my friend's when any decent cleric can help us or is offline

Im not agree with the people who rejects a veno without a herc or a Barb/Bm help for a veno with a herc

Anyway all those things are tie up to chinese version and licenses thats why maybe they never will change it

i have to agree...i really loathe the look of the herc. and if it were something we could catch, it would SO even out the situation for venos. as someone who cant possibly afford the cash shop pets, and has 'only' three level 73 golems and other pets, i find myself unwanted as a helper in instances other than my own.

it would be so helpful if two catchable pets could be endowed with abilties similar to those of the cash shop pets...how about the phoenixes in Burning Heart? how about letting us catch those, for instance? or the two bosses behind Village of Brutes...how about making those catchable, and a quest that venos get their game tanks? there, you have an air and land pet in the same place- give them phoenix and herc stats, and problem solved for us poor ones....and by making them catchable only as a quest would prevent them from being staked out by money hunters

How about this - you know how some mobs have special stats (Increased Life, Increased Defense, Increased Attack, etc), but taming them still results in a 'normal' pet? Well change that - give a small (say 1%) chance that a tamed pet will retain it's special stats - or at least part of it (say 10%).

So for example, tame an Increased Life Crystalline Magmite, and there's a 1% chance you'll get a Increased Life Crystalline Magmite pet with 10% more HP then normal.

That way all the existing pets in the game can potentially be 'rare' pets as well, and you get a lot more variety.

I never had that problem... heck, even now when I do TT or FB runs with people that know what they are doing, they prefer I use my debuffing scorpion or my 3 attack skill golem than the herc, since they outdamage the herc and they have debuffs; also the other DD in the party can go ape wild on damage since the barb is tanking and controlling aggro. My golem. so far has been able to tank most of the bosses in 2-1 and 2-2 when the barb died, long enough for the cleric to res the barb, and the barb get aggro back. Both golem and scorpion have threaten, so that helps alot.
The only time herc comes in handy is against the regular patrol mobs, since it can tank a couple, helping to speed things up in clearing regular mobs. But even than, my golem has been able to tank 2 of them anyway, not even that is game breaker.

I have yet to run a 3-x, so I can not talk about the all herc vs regular pets at that level.
