Sage or Demon

I know if your going for a tank build then sage would be good to make you a better tank.But wouldn't demon be just as good to give your barb more balance you can still be a tank and do more damage at the same time.But I just wanted some other opinions on the matter.

    I think that Tank Barbs need to go with sage.

    high Strength/Dex barbs need demon.

    Being a sage barb means perdition only takes 35% HP instead of 50%, since for a tank barb, perdition is our highest dmg attack by far. The bonuses help alot for TW too, considering your the Barb in the Cata squad and u need to be able to stay alive

    imo sage is the way to go. sage adds extra survivability and thats all a barb is meant to do. demon does look really tight in terms of tiger having no attack drawback and perdition being that much more beastly, but if i wanted a class with high damage i wouldnt have picked barb. but i am level 22 so meh take this how you want.

    perdition will always be more powerfull as Demon, remember that the 10% hp bonus is only in tiger form and u'll have to fight mainly in human form so it doesn't make difference, same thing with ur +120% phys equipment passive skill

    and yes, I agree that demon barb can be excellent tankers as well, It's just based on ur zen wallet capability

    well at my lvl i really have no reason to not go tiger only time i get out is to change equips and buff then i go back to tiger and spam flesh ream to do lots of bleed damage and use alacrity when they use magic and i use almost no pots and if i use 3 reams per mob usually i do not lose much chi and to make it back i usually kill a mob with "weak" and only use 1 ream and i gain it all again.

    in human my only good attack is supposed to stun but never seems to stun and human form seems to attack slower and doesnt seem to do that much more damage for the damage i get hit and the lower hp

    That may be true for Demon, but have you ever seen a Demon Barb Tank RB Delta

    yes. actually, we do it all the time. a 15k hp demon barb can tank RB delta just fine. im an unfunded demon barb level 90 with 14k hp, so 15k isnt hard to get.

    Whats the lowest level the barb can be to be able to Tank delta with almost 100% chance :P

    i.e. like 95+?

    And i was told the Barb needed to have 17k hp to be able to

    dont worry about sage or hell atm cuz u r very far from it, although all i can say is that demon is for rich ppl & sage is for not so rich ppl.

    I keep answering these questions lol

    Tank built barbarian, (Maybe i should add less STR and more VIT =.=) going for sage for tanking purposes b:chuckle.

    More defenses and support is the better b:chuckle

    my guild has completed rb delta with a 14k hp barb that puts wood shards in his armour, level 92.
