Dear GM and others,
i would like to see a server that has british time TW at around 12-8pm in british time. Because in Lost City server the TW time in England is 5:00am. Thats a bit too late and some people want this change. So im just asking for TW times to be like 12-8pm british time.

Lost City is on the west coast, therefore the timing and convienience will be for them. Dunno what time it would be approximately, but if it were the way you said it, many PST players wouldn't go either due to work, dinner, or other things (my guess at least).

its too late for most europeans. i think there should be a server with british time TW at 10am-11pm, everyone will be happy

It died. And PWI is selling Zhen to Europeans. TW times should be convenient to natives without being completely impossible for outsiders. Instead of 8pm, it could have been 5 or 6pm, which is just as convenient, or more convenient for some people in the same Zone, as they may like to watch TV or eat dinner at the current time.

Some Europeans have been playing on the old West servers from the beginning, if they give up their lvl 90+ characters, they may very well just leave PW for newer games.

yh but 2am and 5am r still really late for TW, i would like TW at 10am-11pm british time.

This would be really good for all european users. International is meant to be time zones all over the world?

Unfortunately international just means that the game has gone international, not that it's super user friendly for every nation. That'd be... impossible. b:sad

Yeah, it does get annoying to want to go on TWs and not be able to, cause i need to be awake at ****ing 5 am my time.
TW time/days should actually be made more flexible, cause for European players this sucks. Why it needs to be in west coast evening, not afternoon or something? Waking up at 5 am to play is not possible for me, without having certain annoying discussions with my parents, even worse if i stay awake till 5 am.
Honestly, making it till 1 am GMT time would be great for me, and possibly wouldn't make much difference to west coast players i think...

Moving TW from 8pm to, say, 5 or 6pm, would still be convenient for Americans anyway. It would have made no difference for Americans. The 5am to 1am change, for Europeans, on the other hand, is a huge difference. There is no reason that it should be impossible for Europeans. If it doesn't hurt you anyway, why not be reasonable to others? Especially since they pay for the game too.

Lmao, stfu you ****! It's "Perfect World INTERNATIONAL... It's supposed to be able to be played by everyone. I don't see why TW time can't be changed a bit to make it convenient for everyone. Not to mention that there is a considerable amount of European players here, that actually cash shop and contribute to help the servers keep running. >.>
And you play in a damn east coast server, so why should we care anyway? Now, are we European players playing in west coast servers, and that actually didn't want to give up on high lvl chars to move to a damn new server, not worth to have the times change for more reasonable hours for us? I don't see why a US player can't have TW at 6 pm instead of 8 pm.
Seriously it's annoying. And at 8x-9x not being able to TW cause of your damn time zone, sucks.

I beleive it is staetd somewhere on the website that PWI is maintained for the North American community. It is open to other users of course but all decisions are based on North America (mainly USA). I hope someone with knowledge of the whereabouts of this information can help my post out.

So for all the Euro's I can understand the pain but there just not enough of you for them to be conserned at the moment about running another server meant for you. You may think there is a lot of you spending cash on the game, but the % comparison to the N.American populous is very small.

I am sure once there are enough clients IP's coming from the Euro area and that are bringing in enough sales to make it worth a new Euro server then you will see I am sure a Euro Server.

On a side note perhaps a techy can explain how the servers work since I am not much of a hardware person. If they were to open a server for Euros does that mean they would need to open another office in Europe somewhere or can they run the servers here? That would create a higher ping rate here would it not? So they would have to spend money housing another office in Europe somewhere to keep ping low for the users there.????

No one is talking about a new server, for European players. Only talking about a little change on TW time. But i guess that it would be too much to ask to change your damn TWs a few hours sooner so that we can also enjoy the game to it's fullest lol.
But i guess it makes sense, cause then you can't watch your wrestling, etc. b:laugh
And actually Tatuaje, that post is damn elitist to not call it something stronger. If you're so exclusive, maybe they should have never let us European players play in it.

Last time I checked most Euro countries were democracy as well.

Garanteed if they found that the majority of players played in TW were logged in at 5:00am from their time zones they would change it around but you have this illusion that there is this mass player based compared to Canada/USA/Mexico over here. Your % is still to low to be considered for changing stuff in game.

By the By, not nessecary to get angry, noone is being mean to you. We all feel the pain. I have to be up at 1:00am to play.

Honestly, the last I checked this is simply a game and really should not make that much difference in your life whether you get to play in a little war or not. That said, if you feel you absolutely positively HAVE TO be in a TW, then there is a fairly simple solution. Go to bed at a reasonable hour rather than staying up to 1am playing until your parents tell you to go bed, then wake up at 5am to play your war. I'm sure your parents wont mind you waking up to play for say, 30 minutes? (i've never been in a TW so idk how long they last) as long as you've gone to bed at a reasonable time and go back to bed after you have your war.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for them cutting back a few hours so that everyone can play, but I'm also not a working adult who has a job and family to take care of. When it's your 1am, it would be our 4pm, when I'd have to say everyone who has a job would be working. Even I don't get home from school until 3pm, 5pm if I stay after school. So now we're cutting out the working class and the kids who stay after school for sports and whatnot. Well now, who's left exactly? The small amount of europeans and the unemployed. Following the mindset that it is just a game, work and school activities are far important than a little war. How fun is that now that everyone here cannot participate because the small population of europeans want times changed around.

So to put it in more simple terms, unless you expect every working player to drop their jobs/cut out early and every student that either has classes/sports/extra curiculars to drop them just so europeans can have an easier time being awake, you're dreaming. The website states here: http://www.perfectworld.com/about/aboutus that it's main focus is to cater to north american users. Call it elitist, but its quite clear the population of players if far more vast here than it is where you are.

For your sake, fingers crossed more europeans start playing and things get changed around to fit your wants, or should I say "needs."

that is -7 hours.
Currently my TW are at 8-9PM (Atlantic Time)
so if it was -7 hours all the TW on Friday would be during my work day, around 1-2PM, which is probably the same as many North American players who hold a regular 9-5 job.

I believe they can try their best to allocated TW times but it will be impossible to make it work for everyone if truly being "International" , we will all just have to live with it, some people it will work well for and some it will be terrible.

where do you get -7 hours? pacific standard time is -8:00 GMT -_-; like stated, this is a west coast server based mainly for the US populus but avaliable for many nationalities hence the I in PWI.

TW time is perfect for people on this side of the world, 1PM would be too early, too many people at school, 5 PM still too early; thats when most people get off work, sorry to say, its just an inconvience to cater to a minority. your only answer is to try east coast servers, their TW is set for east coast times at -5:00 GMT if i rememebr right (im under influence of 'painkillers' lol)
