Meditation Improvement

The meditation skill plays a pretty big role in this game allowing a player to gain back HP/MP over a certain amount of time without the use of expensive Pots and or charms.

After the earlier levels Meditation just isn't efficient anymore especially if you're a caster and go through MP really quick. It takes away from the immersion of the game having to sit there and do nothing for an extended period of time.

Granted this period of time may only be 3+ minutes I still think the skill has room for improvement.

My thoughts for improvement would be adding a questline every say 20 to 30 levels to allow for improving the efficiency of the skill. Another method would be to make it trainable for everyone and just create a new form of the skill in general that would be accessible to everyone if that's easier.

We could have something like 'Deep Meditation' HP/MP are tripled during meditation (and maybe new effects while in Deep Meditation b:chuckle).

Just my thoughts. If anyone has anything to add feel free to do so.

I think it would help out a lot and those that still want to go out and buy charms or utilize pots for grinding could do so and still be more effective. However, this way the gap in efficiency between the two methods (Meditation Recovery and Charm/Pot Recovery) wouldn't be so large.

I do like this idea. Higher levels of Meditation would make a great Passive skill.

I like it. Maybe have an npc for it, much like cs does. Go to the npc after a few lvls and get a quest to compleate. Be a lot easier then having to stock up on mana regen items. And charms are a bit pricy for my taste ^_^; But over all i like the idea and woudl love to see it used.

Mmm, now, for some odd reason, maybe because I'm all hyped up on mana enchants on my armor, but I never run out of it, to where as most do. Even though this scenario is in place for me, it does bug me that the meditation just doesn't quite cut it during battling. I'll see a wizard or a cleric meditating after killing but 5-10 mobs. Which I can see how that can be VERY annoying.

EDIT: My friend did inform me of something I didn't remember earlier. Meditation also regenerates HP as well. Even though I may be a Veno, I do tend to take some heavy hits on my hp... and buying those pots quite stink due to their cost, and they only last a little while. So I even further support this idea ^_^

Get some passive skills that all classes have, just like flight mastery/swim mastery/bow mastery etc etc.
