Why do i keep Disconnecting from server?

Hi I'm ChocoIate from Dreamweaver server, and i don't know why i keep disconnecting from server... I get disconnected a minute after i log in. I'm getting tired of the Disconnections please help.b:surrenderb:surrender

I KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED!!! BEEN AT THIS FOR LIKE 1 HOUR!

    Yeah, this has happened to me as well. I just started today, and i'm not sure whats wrong.
    I finished d/loading the game yesterday and started today. i made my character(s) and chose one. But when i click "start" it goes to a loading page, and then disconnects me and closes the window.
    on top of that, even though i have chosen the smaller screen, my game is still full-screen sized.
    Any help with that too?!

    yeap i am getting this problem, in the last 20 mins i log into the game and disconnect about 5 - 8 times now it's getting a lil annoying

    Happens to me too. I rebooted everything (ADSL, routers, etc), and I tried using different computers, but the game disconnects after a few minutes.

    Other games don't have connection issues, so I'm wondering if it's an issue on the PWI server side.

    Me too ! All was well since i start 6 days ago, but now... This morning i start to play and disconnected to the server, please login off. I must Force connection. I had change my password, always disconnected from game after one or 2 minutes. I suspect the Safety Mod (the lock under the portrait of my char). He is always shinning... Anyone can get a look on this ?

    DON'T TOUCH THE SAFE LOCK !!! I just read on it and it's an horrible thing! and i don't think it's about our disconnections probs. sorry.

    Anyway, nobody has an answer about these disconnections after playing some minutes ?

    Some french friend (including me) who have FREE as ISP, got disconnection after playing some minute b:sweat

    Interesting, I connect through Free as well (french ISP). Same issues.. but only happens with PWI.

    I don't see any disconnects when playing Jade Destiny however.

    Well i did make a similar thread to this and did receive some pointers on help .
    Some of these where .
    Windows Vista will be competing with RAM space with the game .So xp would be better .
    Maybe you need to update you driver ? Either Direct X or NVIDIA etc .
    Well i have updated my Direct X and checked on NVIDIA and it says that my system has all the latest requirements .
    I also have a fairly good 10 mb connection so after trying all of this and rereading the FAQ twice and applying everything i learnt from there , still no change .
    Infact it has become worse and i have not been able to play for two days now and this has started to become worse this past week and i have noticed more users are complaining since this past week , it couldnt possibly be only me ?
    This situation has escalated enough and something should be done about it ! i never suffered this in the past times i have played this game so i would highly appreciate it if a GM would help address my message and hopefully help the fellow users who are encountering these problems .

    Now it seems working good. Really strange. It seems coming from the internet provider Free in France near Paris for me but why only PWI was touch ??? b:surrender

    Doesn't work for me neither, keep beeing deconnected after few minutes. Tried to pass-by my routeur, tried another modem, nothing works..
    My provider is "free" too. I call them: everything is ok, i have 13mb and my modem is synchronized! They dont know what happen and can't do anything for me (he said it might be my hardware requirement that dont allow me to play the game i play for months...)

    "Seems", i get one d/c 1 min ago, so no its not working good :(
    And i don't understand why in other online game, i don't have problem, only on PWI, maybe a GM can tell us if they have some problem with french ISP b:chuckle

    Have your ISPs to allow traffic to our servers.

    The list of our IP addresses is in the networking info link in my signature here.

    That might help.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    How many minutes is those few minutes at you guys?
    Because for me it's sometimes 20 minutes, 10 or sometimes 40.
    I might be using Vista, but think it's really strange, since my pc works fine along with my internet, And the other games I play.

    I'm not on French network, so i can't say the same as some of you guys.
    But it's really annoying as it gets me killed+losing experience all the time.

    Please help me, and my fellow PWI users ._.

    i cant belive how small this forum really is..!
    i never saw here any solved problem!
    i had problem with my update.. had to solve it myself (somehow)-.-
    and now this.. wtf is going on..
    there is no way i can fix this one alone need a GM help or somthing..
