Hi, I am new to this game, and I've heard so many of different opinions about the best pvp roles, some of them stated that blademaster is the best pvp role, some said archers , some said barbarian and etc etc... Everyone seems to have different opinions about the best pvp class.

If you dont mind to help a newbie like me, I'd like to ask for some opinions from you guys in deciding which role would suit me the best =x . b:shutup

I like to pk so mm the class I am looking for should be doing decently in pvp. PVE wise, I dont really like to kite the mobs around, I'd like my character doing good damage to mobs , I'd like to get invited into AOE grinding squad, doing dungeons to get good equipments when I am higher level, I'd want to be able to make good money... Ok , mmm which class would be great for me?

Venomancers are the most efficient with their money and will be invited into AoE Grinding squads (Zhen parties) as lurers, meaning that they won't attack the monsters but will instead get on their mounts and aggro the monsters into following them into everyone else's AoE. They don't kite because they can send their pets to tank the monster and then cast from afar.

However, they're completely terrible in PvP UNLESS you by some chance get a Phoenix pet. They're currently gods in PvP because a Phoenix's bleed Damage over Time effect will bleed someone out in 5-8 seconds. However, people are clamouring for the GMs to 'fix' this, so I wouldn't count on it being viable by the time you get a Veno high enough to have a Phoenix.

From what you said I would suggest an archer you can kite mobs around on an archer and do well in pvp.

I will take barb or BM lurer over squishy venos any time. Venos aren't needed in Zhens.

From the description of your playing style, i'd say the class that would fit you the best would be an Axe/Hammer Blademaster. They do relatively good damage and i believe that they are the class with the biggest amount of AoE attacks in the game. Being the 2nd best tanker they also have very high survivability. I don't have much experience in Blademaster PvP but from what i read on this forum they do very well against caster classes and Archers, the only class that you will have a hard time against are Barbarians due to their high physical defense and tons of HP. Axe/Hammer Blademasters also have a very high amount of attacks with can cause the "Stun" status, which is very useful in PvP as you can "Stun-lock" your opponents, stopping their attacks to allow yourself to heal and tear into them with more attacks while they cannot fight back.

An another good choice would be a Barbarian. They are basically the "meat-shield" tankers of Perfect World with their very high HP and relatively good defense. Their high HP alone makes them very hard to kill in PvP, but at high levels you will get a very powerful attack (i believe its name is "Armageddon") which draws its force from your HP, doing some devastating damage which is good enough to one hit caster classes who do not possess top notch equipment. The downside though is that the rest of your skills do relatively low damage and mainly specialize in keeping monster aggressiveness (aggro) and you will not have a lot of AoE attacks, resulting in much lower leveling speed then on a Blademaster.

Whether you pick a Blademaster or a Barbarian, in Zhen parties (AoE parties) you will mainly perform the role of a lurer.

Want to make good money in short time? Select a PvE server(ull not lose time hiding from or hunting another player http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=224532 or hiding always of guards if u r red name too,u cant travel to/from towns to do/turn in quests safety,u cant report a quest to guards if u r red name ull be killed when u get close to city guards , u cant lvl up faster if u want to lvl sometimes not just keep grinding(if u wanna grind for some items and u dont wanna lvl up to keep the drop rate buy sometimes a genie lvl 1(max.50k on sanctuary server) and spent exp on it..in this way u dont need to die many times ...when genie its your lvl u can decompose it and sell the genie-exp.cube).If u r high enough (31 for fb19),u can do fb caves alone untabed for molds( u can get stamps in caves too for reputation if u keep a drop rate ,mean a lil higher diference between u and mobs= 10 lvls from mobs and 7-8 lvls from boss)(i spent in time 1.5 mil on my magmite pet skills new or/and upgrade- ..not many players can have 1.5 mil at 31 lvl without spendind real money.U will not spent time to running/hiding around on PvE server and time is money.Get on a PVE (i read some posts on forums from ppl which they regret coz they choose PVP server).Ucan select a PVE server and u can enter in PK mode when u want, after lvl 40 i think ( in PVP server ull be forced on PK mode at 30 lvl).Personal i dont like this PK mode on all this game.MY FRIEND WAS BLACKMAILED WITH 400K FOR HER ITEMS DROPED - a minxi skirt and few items (she was in PK mode too,i dont remember if was white or pink name anyway chance to drop/lose items its higher if your name get close to red color).U can lose alot money by buying again equimp. My advice ,, select a PVE server and start with a veno or start to create a veno alt character , on a PVE server ull meet enough PKrs, u can choose your PK mode when u want, ull find PK enabled instances ..like Temple of dragon(for 60+ lvls,Cube of Fate some rooms..).And on PVE Server prices at items and even at gold its a lil lower and worth to buy/invest ---> health economy.
*PK enabled area it mean players can kill others players even if its NOT in PK mode (mean blue name or Safety mode )

    Good luck b:thanks b:bye

    AOE: Archer, Wizard.
    Money: Venomancer
PVP: All of them can be successful, I'd say Archer, BM, and Venos would be best.
PVE: Haha, all of them do pretty good.

Hun, you're talkin all around perfect. PWI doesn't go all out on 1 char. It's be unbalanced.

I started playing in the Lost City server and i like it a lot! PvP isn't bad, i mean if you like challenges. I can't resist a good challenge so i started on Lost City and i like it a lot, i can't imagin to play on a PvE server.

If you're okay with mobs kiting you then ok, I'd say it's BM. I don't find my archer kiting a lot and I don't need to run away a lot either.

The above sounds like either BM or archer, but their use in a squad, pve and pvp are from different perspectives altogether.

The money making part is a skill on its own, so it's not entirely class relevant. Ignoring all the arguments who has the highest repair bills, charm costs or whatsoever, it has more to do with how you save money and how you make money.
