posted something about lag/disconnect in tech support n no reply for 4 hrs...

ok today my game started to lag, things go smooth for couple of seconds, then lag for couple of seconds. Later on, mobs will not show up UNTIL i passed them; then disconnect from the game. The longest duration w/o disconnection today is 10mins.

the problem happen only today, been playing this game since October.

my internet connection is fine, i try surfing the web, watching video online it all work as the same as usual. there are couple threads about this problem too in the tech support zone, i was wondering if any other people having the similar problem. since no one goes to tech support zone anyway....

anyone know y? plz i alrdy missed my fac's tw, don;t wanna miss more.b:cry

    I suggest you redo the patch files. Before you do that try to use the verify button. That may help. Try that... if it don't work I suggest you submit a ticket.

    oh sry, more info, i verify files, restart computer, restart router, restart internet box, etc, i did EVERYThHING i can!!! if this continue, i will reinstall the game....

    Since you seem to not be having problems with anything else it clearly is corrupted files. Given the problems over the last week this is not a shock. Redownloading the game until there is a patch for the "patch" isn't going to help. You can try if you like but you are still going to have to redo the same patch that is causing problems at this point. Is it possible you can try to redownload the patch and try reapplying it?

    I did this today and it told me the files were corrupted. So it may or may not work. In the meantime, you might also try to manually use some of the other settings upon start up of the client.

    I would give those in support some more time as they are busy with other tickets as well.It won't be resolved overnight they aren't machines.

    Check your task manager and see how much memory the client is using. Once you've reached critical mass, the client will start acting sluggish, objects will start to render without textures and you get severe lag. Completely exiting and restarting the client should temporarily fix the problem.

    It also could be one of the connection points between you and the server as well. So your internet connection may be fine to other sites, but not PWI.

    It also could be PWI or their servers' providers.

    could not withstand... crazy - on PW MS you can be glad if you get a reasonable answer after 4 weeks - and you complain after 4 hours? b:chuckle
