Sharpened Tooth Arrow on TT mobs

When I raid Twilight Temple, I usually use Sharpened Tooth Arrow on all of the creatures in there, mobs and bosses. I try to wait for the Barbarian to use their bleeding attack skill and another 2 attacks before firing it off.

Should I inform my squadmates that since I am doing this, they should wait for me before executing damage-only attacks? Obviously, attacks that have another desired effect, such as stun or building aggro, should go off whenever they want. However, there is a part of me that feels guilty when a squadmate activates a genie skill and launches an attack before I get my Sharpened Tooth Arrow out. Never mind how I feel about the archer squadmate that casts Deadly Shot despite knowing what I am doing...

Or should I simply let them play in ignorance, while I quietly cut down the total TT run time by 10% or more?

People should know what powers other classes have, so that they know what s going on. And besides that, you can expect them to know something when they reached the lvl to go TT... ><
If you've been bad, Lord I bet you have
And you've not been hit by flying lead
You'd better close your eyes and bow your head
    And wait for the ricochet.

Maybe I do not squad with archers often enough on TT runs, but I have yet to team up with another archer that uses STA on TT mobs.

Most do not even have the skill maxed.

I tend to deliver the ST at the same time the barb uses his bleed skill. Really you shouldnt pull aggro all that much and if you did you still have a shield and wings of grace. Pulling aggro is part of the fun of being an archer anyway :)

It's not just you.. I've had many a fellow player ask me what Sharpened Tooth Arrow does(even other Archersb:sad). I ALWAYS explain it and try to get the word out to other Archers that i squad with that STA is a VERY important skill for Bosses. I keep it leveled use it on any boss/mob in TT/FCT/FB's and even regular Bosses for quests(like Yan the Traitor) that have high amounts of HP. Let's not even mention world bosses, anyone care to do the math: Lvl 10 STA takes down 16% of their HP in 1 shot, whats 16% of 24mil HPb:victory

yeah, and someone should teach clerics that's a good idea to do a magic debuff on the boss to stack with posion and undine.
99% of them are IH the tank and that's about it

Sadly, I was in TT the other day when we told the archer to make sure to STA the bosses right when we started attacking. He said he never purchased the initial skill. :\

By the time most charachters are able to farm TT, they know what an archer is good for. Sharpened tooth arrow. lol
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Most TT monsters are not worth the (very minor) bother -- 16% hp will be gone in a few seconds anyways. If they have several hundred thousand health (like dragons), sharpened tooth will be worthwhile.

    Seconded

Most TT mobs have plenty enough HP to make it worthwhile. If you get it off right away every time it's almost like having another DD in the squad.

I had thought that STA reduces the current hp of the boss relative to the total. So if a boss has max 1000 life, and you use max STA to reduce by 16%, but the boss has 500 health, then the boss will be put to (500/1000)*(1000*0.84)=0.5*840=420 health. Then if you deal another 50 damage, putting it down to 370, and the effect wears off, then you do (370/840)*1000=440(ish), which is an extra 10 damage ultimately. I don't think it matters if the boss is full life or not.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, that's just how I understood it.
