i have pretty well found out that 4 dex 1 str is way superior to hybrid cause why take away from main attk source to put like 10 HP in?? point of an archer is to kill before they reach u

    Builds depends on wat ya want..

    Hybrid is best for PvE.. once u hit 70 u will have an extra 600-1k life which is helpful..
    Pure dex is best for Pvp.. Cus during Tw/Pking war.. Ya are not meant to stay in someone eye.. U either target n kill.. If a meele gets close u kite a little..
    At 80s n 90s u wil spend so muchhhh time tryin to lv.. that refining ur equip to +4/5 or higher will get u way enough hp to survive even melee/magic users

    I'm not even sure about this... of course I'm not 70 yet so correct me if I'm wrong, but pve becomes alot easier after 50 or so. And I mean a LOT.

    I see so many people of different classes that keep complaining about magic mobs, that have to rest all the time, we just kill stuff without an effort. And if you have to take a hit, adding a little vit isn't going to cut it, a good use of winged shell on the other hand will.

    The only threat we could have are bosses, elite instances, stuff like that, but again I'm not sure a hybrid archer would do any better in those cases.

    what about a strong archer? for more p.def and heavier armours?

    i don't mean go str like a vit archer would with vit but maybe pump a lil more into str? would it make any difference at say lvl 80+?

    edit: i don't want to rely on evasion in an endgame world where mages never miss and barbs have misty rings and most mobs are ranged magic attackers lol

    my p.def at lvl 45 is 1071 but i know i can raise it cus i lost my boots (got knocked out of them tbh lol)

    Pure dex = faster killing = faster grinding = nice in PvE... just be careful with chain-aggro mobs etc, but even with pure dex and some def/hp shards, u should be fine in PvE

    A reasonably equipped pure dex archer should rarely get hit by a mob. Reducing attack and especially crit % increases the odds of being hit. You'll need the extra HP if you dont go pure. If you consider that an even trade, also consider that a pure dex kills faster.

    In my opinion that tilts the scales in favor of pure, not even considering PvP. Throw that into the mix and, in my opinion, pure dex is the way to go.

    vit hybrid for the f#@king win. espcially for pvp. of course 99% of archers(or most everyone on these forums)are going to disagree with me. the fact is no pure dex archer my lvl can kill me. if you are my lvl and you wanna test this theory out your more than welcome to.

    That doesn't make a theory. Theories always have some logical basis to them and are disproved or not with empiric tests.

    Either you're right, or they suck, both equally possible. That doesn't really count as proof to me :\
    I'd be more interested to see if your own dmg penalty is bearable with the points you put into vit instead of dex

    imo pure dex is best for both...yea the only problem is TTs and stuff likethat with bosses but expsically at 69 when you have a wind and clouds grindingto 70is a breeze and very very profitable. You dont even need mana youll crit those minions dead before they even channel an attack. Not to mention the same to alot of mobs(naturally mana usage varieson type ofmob) oh and my gear gives me 600hp+ even tho i have 3vit(13vit with gears and tome).
