Anybody know exactly what +Matk does and what +Mag does?

    matk = (1+(MAG/100))*(level+equipment magic attack), IIRC.
    +mag adds to mag in this formula, it seems. But i'm not sure about how +matk stats work... I changed one ring from +vit to +11+11 matk, resulting matk increased to ~3050 from ~2900... +150 from +22? 0_0
