Cannot Find My Tame Pet Skill and I am level 17

Hi, I would really appreciate some help here. I have not been able to acquire my taming skill in any way. I do have the pet heal and the pet revive skill, yet when i click on the venomancer npc person, and I click on the skills part, there is no taming skill there for me to learn.

Please help as I have gotten to level 17 and I do not want to start a new venomancer.

    Tame Pet is learned through a Venomancer-Only quest.

    The Quest Tips forum has a thread, Comprehensive List of Quest Guides.

    You'll want this one, for Untamed levels 1-19.

    When you load the thread, hit Control+F to start the Find option. Type in Sacred Beast. That's the name of the quest you want. (you can also type in "tame pet"). It will take you to the instructions for getting the quest done and gaining the skill.

    The quest is for Level 7 Venomancers - you should use your Find Quest option when playing the game so that you don't miss things like this.

    Are you sure you're talking to the right npc? You need to talk to the pet npc, not the venomancer.

    I spoke to the venomancer and the pet person. I will check those links above.... god im such a newb lol.

    Yay i did the Sacred Beast quest and finally learned the taming skill. Thank you very very much for your help :)
