Zhen parties = trouble?

What is the official stance on zhen parties? Can you get banned for doing it? or what are the rules on what u can and cannot get away with?

    Im not sure, but i bet even if it is against the rules ppl wouldnt get banned for it. Zhen squads = Massive charm usage = Gold = $$.

    I never heard anything about it being illegal, and anyway it's probably one of the games main sources of income thanks to heavy charm and eso usages.

    What should be bannable are zenners who try to push 1v1'rs out of the area because they want more exp, and believe since they're spending real money they're entitled to every mob. In some cases there are exceptions but a lot of the time it's simply rich players with huge egos bullying and causing grief to others.

    I read a while ago, someone mentioning some 74 page thread or something....anyway, long story short, one of the GMs actually said that the archer barrage of arrows duel trick was not illegal. As far as I know, the only part of a zhen party that would be frowned upon by the powers that be is the cleric going afk with bb up.

    As an aside, I sincerely doubt that our GMs would tolerate illegal/inappropriate behavior even if it DID bring in cash. Worst case scenario is they would change the rules to make said behavior legal. Perhaps that's what happend with zhen parties....

    If you go afk while zhenning, that is illegal (I mean, while skills are going, if you just standing there leeching of your mates, not sure if that would be illegal or not). Using barrage while zhenning is only possible by using a game glitch, there is no way to not agree with that. If the GMs allow for players to use that glitch or not, that is a different question all together.

    Well the barrage skill is glitched it was suppose to work like the wizards AoE but they broke it so yeah they make up for it by letting u do that

    I remember hearing that the glitch was barrage was that it ended when the target is dead and the duel trick is a work around.

    It says in the skill description, Skill will not end until you press esc or click cancel, or something like that.
    The only way to win is to quit. b:bye

    Which is exactly the same as Dragon's Breath, so it should work the same

    I'm pretty sure this is correct. Just about anything gets interrupted when you lose the target (mob dies). You can be typing a message in guildchat, and if the mob you have targeted dies, your typing gets interrupted and the chat window loses focus.

    No! With a wizard Dragons Breath ONLY gets interrupted or stops if you hit escape to cancel it OR if your MP runs out. It is not cancelled or stopped any other way.

    From the in-game skill description
    Barrage:
    "Use all available vigor to release countless arrows into the sky delivering devastating damage to the TARGET and enemies in an area of effect upon impact."

    Dragon breath
    "The power of the fire god surrounds your body in a blazing vortex.
    All enemies within range suffer constant fire damage"

    Amaizingly, some of the Wiz's skills do have very similar descriptions as barrage.
    for example:
    Blade Tempest
    "Focus all of one's vigor to create countless flames that fly towards the enemy, causing the TARGET and all surrounding enemies to suffer both physical and fire damage."

    Similar descriptions are also in Black Ice Dragon Strike and Mountain's Seize.
    That means that you should be able to do the same thing with those other 3 skills, since they have similar descriptions as Barrage.

    im suprised the one who did this thread wasnt a veno but o well...


    zen partyes are "good exp" in my opinion BUT u wil newer get baned for feeding GMs.... lol

    Why would a veno start a thread asking if using barrage during zhen would get them in trouble? Last I checked venos do not have that skill.....
