How do the cauldrons work, Ive tried exchanging a puzzlecube for a die and the other way round, can anyone help please?

    they are just there if you leave a room and already have a die, like if a bomb explodes and you already have a die and get ported to room 1, get pkd when you got a die, or something weird happens
    you then go to a cauldron equivalent of the die you have, go through the tabs to find out which room you got that die from and then you can make that die with 1 compatible with room 1 to start over
