Hello,

I used to play PW Brazil, then I created a new Barb to play PWI, since it has more features and far better translation.

I'm on Dreamweaver and I get a ping of around 140ms. That would be unacceptably high for, say, Team Fortress 2, but it works fine for PWI. The other PvE server gets over 200ms for me :-(

What kind of ping do you guys get considering your location???

I'm southwest of Brazil, exactly 4,825 miles/7.765 km away from the server.

    I have simmilar ping to you, and I am a UK user, but I live a bit closer than you. I also experience some lag, especially in three started cities and west district of Archosaur, but that is usual for everyone. I have also had some odd days where I have lagged out of the cities, but is nothing to worry about.

    If you are experiencing lag, the first thing you should do is check the game settings, to see if they are at their lowest graphical settings. Then the next thing to check is there anything else running at the same time as the game client. The odd one or two things are ok like a speaking system such a vent or teamspeak, and internet explorer.

    I think I had around 120 when I first chose the server (playing from Europe). The other PvE one had almost 200 as you say Brucutu. Despite the pretty good ping, I'm having small delays in many situations. Like, I'm at range of a mob, I slam my spell button and only after a second or little less, Vari starts to cast. It's not the end of the world but it's there.

    All in all, 120-130 ping is actually very good for a US server for me. In some other MMOs I've played this way have given me something from 200 to 300. And that starts to show already.

    I'm 100-120 from Denmark. not too bad. no lag except when my net like to fall out for soem seconds.

    And I don't have too many issues in game. Weekends get a bit slow at peak times, but otherwise the game runs just fine.
