When to refine Armor, Equip, and Weapons?

When should you start to refine your equipment, armor and/or weapons. I am a light armor wiz. Thanks.

    a lot of wizards get the 70 stuff and use it until lvl 90
    you should start refining around there
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    I wouldn't think about refining until your 8x.. and really you should be saving for your 9x. Leveling pre 8x is so fast that you could be into your new gears within a week or two if you are really pushing for your levels. I would wait to start refining until you'll be using the gear for quite some time.. (for me that means 9x) and I'm +2'ing a few of my items im planning to resell.. but saving the majority of my mirages and orbs for my 9x gear XD

    Refine at 70, to about +1 or +2.
    At 90, you can then go to +4, +5, +6 what have ya.

    Just think for how long you are going to keep certain piece of armor. If it lasts for more than 10 levels, it makes sence to refine it. For example, i've got nice headgear: 207 pdef bonus, better than 80HH. Of course, i'll refine it and socket it... when i'll get money for that lol.

    If you're on a pve server don't bother refining anything other than your weapon until you decide you actually start doing TWs etc, but I wouldn't bother still till 8x. I left most of my stuff at +0, but I made the light armor mold gear I got around 78 +2 along with the rest of my gear.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.
