Question about grinding with Supreme Foxwings

I just have a few questions:

1. I grinded on Supreme Foxwings with Esoterica(1.5x exp) for 1 hour but only gained 20% exp at my lvl... does that sound normal to you? because the last mob i grinded at (bloody sharks) gave me around 30%

2. Where to grind at lvl57 ? I think I am too early for Supreme Foxwings

3. I heard Foxwings have good drops. I only got Flexible Sinew...do people usually buy them if i sell them in catshop? or is it another one of those useless DQ items that i should sell to NPC
