FB's and running low levels through

From what I hear about FB's, they are not meant for a low level group to tackle by themselves. For ex, I should be squading with 40+ chars during my FB19 run.

I do not understand the point of this implementation. I'm relatively new to this game and I got a bunch of my friends to register with me, but from the above info I'm basically being told that I won't be able to run these dungeons as a group with them.

Is this true? What is the reasoning behind this implementation? Sure I can quest with my friends, but doing dungeons and tackling bosses would be a lot more fun to do.

    my first fb19 i did with a squad of lvl's 19-23. We completed it.
    It is possible, but most people at lvl 19 wont know what to do.

    Run FBs with people your level. They will take longer, but you will form strong bounds with your fellow party members.

    Having high level players run them for you just cuts down on the time it would take for you to run them with your friends. If you are not in a hurry, than just take the time and do it with your friends.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    youll see that you will start to run with a party your lvl at fb69 or even 59, by now, just consider it as a faster way

    Wrong. FBs can be run with people of similar levels to the FB itself. It just takes work and skill. Weird concept, I know.

    Most people want high levels to run it through for them in an hour or less and then expect to get 3*s and molds out of it. But high levels lend themselves to that because grinding gets boring, I guess. b:surrender

    It's possible. It takes time and you can get lost, but it should be a lot of fun doing it with friends same lvl than with high lvls doing all the job while you do nothing. b:laugh

    Its possible and quite fun (for the first few times). I tanked all my fb's with a squad near my level when the server was still quite young. Back when I was in Hybrid still. Yea, I didnt level up for the past 4 months or so, maybe more.

    Is this because you died a lot during the run and lost experience? From what I am seeing its possible, but fairly difficult.

    Realistically speaking, it would be very hard for a team of similarly-leveled players to go through an fb. Possible, maybe, but hard... and even when it's possible, it often requires unrealistic squad configurations. For example, I would think a squad with one of every class should be able to defeat anything at their relative level. But a lot of bosses need two or more clerics so that the party remains safe, unless everyone has a charm (and even then, I dunno).

    Yeah, you've kind of hit on a flaw in general MMO design, there. :P Don't blame PW, blame the design it's trying to copy.

    Nothing to blame, they can do it if they do not mind that it takes time.
    If it was easy, it would not be a challange, right? Like rare items would not be rare anymore if everyone had one.

    Honestly? I don't think it's a bad thing to require two clerics... Now if only people would realize just how important clerics are... *sigh*

    It is totally realistic to do with a squad your level. This is assuming that all players are experienced with MMORPGs in general. barb tanks, cleric heals, duh. Maybe fb19 is a little unrealistic because you have no idea what the hell is going on. But, afterwards (fb19+), it is pretty easy to do fbs with a squad pretty close to the fb level. If all the squad members know how to play their class, then you're fine. Having 2 cleric helps but is not really necessary until you hit fb69/70.

    veno lures ONE mob
    barb grabs aggro
    cleric heals
    DDs do damage
    rinse and repeat

    For example: I tanked fb59 at lvl 59 with a lvl 53 cleric healing me. No one died, we got what we needed except last boss, cause he glitched.
