LA Veno+nix VS. LA wiz

If an LA veno+nix were to vs. an LA wiz, who comes out ahead?
I'm already pretty sure the LA veno can take on most other classes, JW about how it does vs. an LA wizard of the same lvl. Any ideas?

    The reason I'm asking, since it must be clearly described for someone of your high intelect for detecting such "trolls," I'm currently working on making an LA wizard, and I'm wondering if a veno is better or worse against them.

    I don't know about LA wizz, but if a Robe wizz has Soporific Whisper and FoW decently upgraded and sees your Nix commin, it's either run or die for veno.

    The nix will almost always beat the wiz if it reaches them of course.

    that's why i've said "..and sees your Nix commin..."
    And there is that nice genie skill that makes you imune at bleed for 7 sec.
    enough to WoP-blink-whatever to kill nix.

    The goal is to kill the nix first? I always thought you just kill the veno while the pet flutters around. Then again, thats from the perspective of a BM cuz the only times I've dueled a veno was on my BM, and she didnt have a nix either, so I just magic marrow'd and tanked her pet, only lost maybe 1/3rd of my HP.

    well , some go for veno, some go for Pet. It's a matter of taste/playing style.
    If the pet is not a Nix, u can try to tank, but I think is taking chances.
    I went againt a lot of venos in TW, every time they were able to land the Nix on me without seeing it commin, it served my **** on a plate. Not when I had enough time to see the nix. A nix is usually 3 hits, maybe 2 if u can land a SS. After that the veno should be, I repeat, should be manageable opponent.

    well I only need that "just in case" and a wizz that fights a Nix in Veno attk range is a little ... slow ( not to use the r word)

    Eh..stuff happens maybe a skill is on cooldown you know what i mean?

    The thing flies at high speed(10m/s about). This makes FoW+Will of nix just delay tactics, best case scenario the veno doesn't know their skills, cauterize/bleed prevention thingy from your genie keeps you safe(a veno that knows their skills will purge you then kite until bleed is ready).

    There is a kind of myth that essential sutra can kill a phoenix but the MDef on the thing meams that will only work on an underleveled nix. Use undine strike and extreme poison here and hope you crit on the thing.

    mmm a veno will always have the advantage... but depending on how good each person plays their class and the gear etc, weird stuff can happen. I've gotten lucky by one shotting the veno with some nice crit, but other than that... I usually die. I can't kill the damn nix faster than the veno can heal it... and I drop fast to both the nix (even with cauterize the thing hits like mad and does like 600 per hit... and interupts all my skills) or the veno hits me pretty good with their wood skills. I generally just stay away from them b:sad

    venos will always have the advantage over EVERY class because they're broken and over powered.

    best thing to do im my opinon, would to undine strike the veno, use an antistun before contact and hope for a tempest/icedragon crit. Attack first then ulti and hope for kill. Otherwise fuel to safe. **** venos

    as a arcane mage you're more squishy, but i consistantly one shot LA venos with undine strike (or genies) tempest/icedragon, non crit. LA mages need crits to kill <_<

    The veno will have defense charms and bramble hood.
    Just do not bother.

    well, the highest venos on my server are in my faction so i don't have to fight them :D
    The rest, yeah, I died from Nix a lot in TW. Somehow they just got me unprepared haven't seen it commin, just saw that fire thing around me and died soon after, lol. But I killed venos with Nix. I might have been lucky, but I did it.
    And any other pet beside Nix is just a joke in PvP.
