ScreenShot File Type

How come when i take a screenshot it saves in the form of bitmap image file type. can anyone tell me how to change the file type please. i am trying to upload the file but i am unable to because of the type of file it is. please i am desperate anything will help.

    Open the bitmap file using Microsoft Paint.
    File, Save As, type: Jpeg.
    Problem solved.

    You can't. but the images you can convert them yourself easily using a converter or image editing program such as GIMP or PhotoShop.

    Be warned, MS paint saves the images under poor quality compression/pallettes/etc which you cannot set.
    Non-mule characters:

    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]....and Drazomyst.

    There is many ways of going about it. You can open the SS up in mspaint and save it as a Jpeg for one or use image program such as Paint Shop Pro and them.
