dodo bear?

so i was just wondering if any1 knew where the spawn 4 dodo bear/Shaodu Cub
is? if so then about what time will it spawn again or is it 12hrs right after the last capture which could b whenever...

    those pets are extreamly rare it spawns one every 12 hours it may take a few trys cuse youl propaly be competeing with other venos for the pet and they all may be 30 or 40+ so it will be hard

    You can find a Shadou Cub spawn point at (188, 766) and (200, 452). The Shadou Cub spawns 5 hours after the most recent Server Maintainance, like all the other pets that spawn every 12 hours.

    Also, Meepsds is right; if your taming level is low and you don't have the right gear/items, it will be very difficult to even get your tame in, let alone have it succeed. You'll have to be very patient, and level your tame as much as you can. Good luck! :D

    Tame is also a useful skill for luring. By leveling it, you'll be changing the amount of MP used for that type of lure.

    Level 1 Tame: Mana 150
    Level 10 Tame: Mana 1500

    How much does leveling tame really help you?:
    Each skill level increases the success rate
    by 5%. Beasts with lower HP are easier to tame.

    Success is mostly dependent on the pet's health, so that 5% is misleading. Your success for this skill also isn't being weighed against other's succes: It's either a success or fail.

    It would be my guess that a fast internet connection (not having p2p in background), high -channeling gear, a good computer, etc could make more of a difference.

    Not saying to not upgrade this skill, but you can't undo that mana burn on a great lure technique once it's done.

    Your goals will be different depending on whether you plan on using your tame for farming rare pets, or using it as a lure skill, as you suggested. Even if you plan on taming a rare pet as a one-time thing, though, I would still level the tame to at least 4. Each level of tame increases your chances of taming a pet at full health by 5%, which is definitely a big plus when fighting tooth and claw with other Venos to get a 12 hr. spawn. In my experience with the Windwalking Piggy, it seems like 9 times out of 10, its health is above 80% when it's tamed, usually in the 90-100% range. A level 1 tame only has about 5% chance of getting the pet at 100%, if you're even able to get the tame in on time. You could do it, especially if you have all pots/gear to help with channeling, but you'll have to be extremely lucky/patient.
