Weapons with three stars in front of its name gives you a blue glow.

Twilight Temple weapons give you green (and I think sometimes red if it's a very high level? I'm not really sure...so don't quote me on that XD).

    Legendary gives a yellow/golden glow.

If you're referring to the little sparkles that surrounds a person's hand, they are using flawless gems (around 900k each) and you need two.

Not sure all the colors, but sapphire gives a white sparkle, amber gives a gold, physical gives a red...etc etc.

Imbuing with two matching lvl 5+ shards should make it glow. It's an option at the Blacksmiths.

Only true for armour. Note that armour also gets sparkle effects if they are different gems, and some interesting effects with Immaculate (G8?) gems as well.

The only gem effect for weapons I am aware of are the sparkly swirl-trails, which come from having two Flawless (G7) gems.

All weapon glow effects are intrinsic to the weapons themselves (☆☆☆, TT, Legendary, and Warsoul).

Should note that the picture in the linked thread is complete in terms of effects, but does not show the full range of colours for imbuing same-type gems into armour, or for the colours of the Flawless swirls:

    Garnet
    Amber
    Sapphire
    Citrine
    Turquoise
    Elemental Shards

And yes, those colours are correct, despite the fact that the colours for many are completely different from the colour of the gems themselves. No idea why.

Wands sometimes glow and have a glowing thing in it.

Legendary weapons (available once lvl 20, but are rare and require mold) glow yellow.

Twilight temple weapons (available at lvl 60) glow green.

Warsoul weapons (and those other ultimate weapons) probably glow but I have no idea what color. :)

You can also imbue soulgems into your weapon if it has sockets. This will make it glow however you need to imbue multiple soulgems and they must be of a certain grade.

Please do realize this question has been posted multiple times and there are a few guides about this. Next time please use the search feature.
