Cube

MntMan - Lost City

Any suggestions on when it's a good idea to hit the cube regularly? By this I mean at what level do you have a reasonable chance to succeed and at what level do you have "almost" a lock chance? (I know you can get screwed being in the wrong rooms with no chance no matter what level you are)

In my opinion, Level 70+ with decent gears. Before that I think it is a waste, you have better things to spend your coins on then the cube.

As far as a lock...you can beat the cube everyday, it is all luck really. Although there may be a few rooms that may give you some trouble or where you might get stuck.

I do the cube everyday and beat it everyday. However, keep in mind there atre good days and there are very, very bad days where you may have to try it several times.

basically the higher level you are, the > the chances of locked success. Now, theres a few rooms that only a barb or cleric can do. i.e. room 49

i did it at lvl 53 on my barb but it took me about 5 trys. I say locked chance would be lvl 75+

Which also depends on what class you are and equipment too

Exactly what I was looking for. Tank you both for your responses. I'm level 60 right now. I'll wait until 75. I'm really poor right now anyways. I got the 320k spirit form my culti already and went skill crazy. Now I have about 125k!! Please tell me my money situation gets better as I get higher levels lol!!!

Room 49 all classes can do easily! You just kill as many mobs as you can in 2 minutes for an extra 5k exp per kill.

Now if you are talking about room 47, Last Stand EX (and the other 2 before that), Clerics have no problem. You simple ironheart right before ported, ironheart, move to a corner and spam yourself. I generally spam two times move, spam once more and kill the mobs. Then from there cast ironheart when needed.

Eh..dble post (sigh).

The money situation can get much easier. One you master the aoe grind, coins and dq comes easily. Also, farm and sell mats if you have too.

Clerics can be expensive, but ever class has there expense.

its weird but i find i get less dq mats when i aoe grind

ALSO, does anybody know for sure if some of the 100sec stand rooms are pk enabled? cause i swear the 2nd one is.

Rooms that have PK enabled are: 11, 14, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 43, 44, 45, 47 & 48.

Is it worth it for clerics?
I went in at around lv6x got stuck in room 1, gave up, and never went inside ever since b:chuckle Later on I asked during my 80s how much i need to spend, and i didnt feel like spending 800k and 30 mirages >_>;

I do the cube everyday...there are some very bad days though when I have to restart several times before I can beat it. However, there are the really good days when I can beat the cube within about 15 minutes.

Once you know the rooms well, it is actually pretty easy to beat.

The Pk rooms (where you have to pk someone to pass) are a pain because (1) you never know who is in there, (2) the person waiting has the advantage and can see you before you see them and (3) if you do not have 4 do-all cards to use as a "free" pass, you have 20 minutes before you fail the room. I know some people who just activate the Ball in the middle when time is up to be sent to the beginning.

My general rule is have at least 40 tickets and 500k on you (since some of the rooms require you to "pay." Also have Extra mirages with you in case you start to run out of tickets, as some rooms (if you do not want to wait for who knows how long) have a direct pass option that can be 3-10 tickets to pass.

I think that it is worth it Exp wise, but there is a definite cost in running the cube.

There is NO reason as to why a Cleric cannot pass the cube easily at 8x. Some rooms may be a little more challenging, but there are those rooms too that are a lot easier for us.

The Cube is designed so every class can do it. It wouldnt be fair if 1 class was 10 times better at it than the others. Now, if you add in equipment and your own smarts, it depends solely on the player not the character. In my personal opinion i think that Clerics and Barbs have it easier than some of the other classes, but thats just me.

If you got the room 47 i think, there is a boss, i would rather be a barb then a cleric who wastes so much on MP charm to take it down.
