well since its almsot impossible to grind with pure unless you got ammounts of shards all over anyways whats refining? i hear it like +4 and yes ik why i die so much cause idont know what refine is for pure :( could someone help me out thanks

    Don't refine past +2 until you're 90.
    Seeing how you're on sanctuary, don't refine at all.
    You'll do fine.

    It is possible to grind with pure. It's also possible to do most quests, but in case of some mobs, it might be quite tedious, as avoiding getting hit can take significant part of the time You deal with the mob. You must be doing something wrong.

    Let's start with Your stats equipment and skills. What do You have?

    Refining helps with survivability but it's not an answer to your problem. Not at Your level. You can find about refining by talking to Duke in Archo.

    try mobs with magic damage over time. like poisonous mobs or pyros. very easy to low hp wizzies.

    for one there not easy those physic mobs are those poisons are the very prob they get annyoing and you go to blink bam another one on you

    If you're going pure you don't need any more str for quite some time. I just got to 40 at my lvl either restat or just pump ur mag for umm well til ur equip needs more str

    Hi,
    Firstly grinding that lvl is always quite heavy alone for mages. So try to grind not alone till 49
    Because then you get a skill named phoenix, which push the mobs
    Also you go to kings feast where are first melee mobs ( use pushback) and later fire mag mobs ( max pyroshell). Those mobs are good for grindiing for mages.
    And refining: don't start earlier than lvl 60.
    And you should max gush, pyrogram, stonerain and the element buffs.
    And maybe your armor is an old one
    I had that till 50 because never found an actuel good one

    majority of air mobs are magic only. try finding some around your level, find out what magic element they are, and build a robe set with as high as possible in that element.

    i.e when i was 60ish i had a fire set, majority of pieces with 1-2 elements only with fire. you'll be able to grind easily without worrying about dying.

    well the flying vipions (and those are nearly all) are also with wood eqipt quite hard, because they often use their mana debuff
    and so you have to regg long time

    maybe you take some mobs in the water, they are easier for you
    and when you are lvl 58 you could go to the Foxwing Supreme
