Give Elite mobs de-aggro range

Today some archer kited Chin the elite level 45 into Angler's Village and killed me three times as I tried to get myself out of there.

Yes, I should have stayed in my corpse, but I was stupid. That caused me to lose 15% of my precious experience.

However, this brings to mind the usage of elite mobs as weapons of malice against other players. What with being in a safe zone, the elite mobs still are able to AoE at random and kill others. Even 5% of experience is 20 minutes work.

For the sake of enjoyment in game, please, help minimise such acts of malice by giving players less tools to exploit.

Take the unlimited aggro range off these elite mobs. Thank you.

    I would say log a ticket and out in ss's if you have them.

    People are NOT supposed to be luring bosses into towns.

    And there is not much anyone can do about this unless it is reported.

    Meh, I don't have screenies. But it happened and it's an exploit, and I'm suggesting a way to take care of it. Devs, please take it into consideration.

    I had a similar problem in Angler's village... set up a cat shop there, went to sleep, and somehow woke up in the morning to find myself dead on the ground. Several people had pmed me asking how in the world I had died in town, and one cleric helpfully rezed me even though I wasn't around to hit ressurect, lol. I know I didn't get disconnected... so it must have been a monster that had come into the village and killed me. I didn't know that you could die while being a cat shop though. It was a weird experience, I still don't know how exactly it happened.

    I sympathize with the situation but putting a range limit would **** over kiting classes majorly, bosses like ape dryad, steelhide grimalkin etc. would become unsoloable from an LA/Arcane point of view. This would make them a pain to fight because you'd either need a hp charm(which will lose a good amount of ticks in the process) or you'd need to annoy a heavier class to tank it for you.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.
