Hello!

Im a newcomer and intrested in the game of Perfect World. First of all feel free to make comments on your experience of the game, what you like and dislike in the game, why would you suggest it to play.

Seconldy, what I couldn1t find in the forums ( not like i was looking for it for hours b:chuckle ) are the shortened words such as QQme FB, and could make a long line of 'em. Im just curious if anyone could list them and give an explanation about these shortened words, so I ( and other newcomers ) will not find it difficult to understand the "language of Perfect World" since the beggining.

And last but not least, I would like to know if International means can be played all over the world, and if yes, what does it mean west and east at the server choosing. East coast, west coast? Or perhaps East means Europe and west means America? I'm just guessing, since my ping is better at east servers.

Hope we will see many nice responds for this thread, so other newcomers will not need to ask the same questions. b:pleased

    As for Perfect world international. You can connect from anywhere but the following places:

    These countries CAN NOT play Perfect World International.
    China
    Hong Kong
    Japan
    Macau
    Malaysia
    North Korea
    Philippines
    South Korea
    Taiwan
    Turkey
    Vietnam

    Welcome to Perfect World! I see you chose Harshlands to start on :) I hope you're aware now that it is a Player vs Player (PvP) server. (I say this because some people don't notice that when they choose their first server.) At level 30 your name will change to White and other non-blue players will be able to attack you outside of safe zones, and you'll be able to do the same. People with Pink and Red names are Player Killers (PKers).

    All that said, this is a fun server! There are lots of interesting people around, as well as a few that you might want to ignore. We have a ton of factions and lots of active players. On the weekends, factions fight over territory on the map, and that's been getting really interesting lately since we now have a lot of factions at high enough levels to compete that way.

    Yes I was aware that it's a PVP server, however I wasn't sure what does it mean but thanks to you now I understand. :) Which doesn't change my choice. Hope to see you someday!

    So what does east ans west on the server list mean?

    The servers are based in America. East Coast servers are on the Atlantic coast of the US. West coast servers are near the Pacific coast of the US.
