when should i be sharding weapons?

at approx what level should I be using sharded weapons? considering that this is my first character and that i have avg amount of coins.... cuz i c a rlly good one in Auction for 400k .... i need answers to make up my mind to buy it or not..

    imo at lvl 60 you should shard start sharding with average, because youll at least have 1 socket with a hh wep.

    if it has sockets just go populate them. don't spend too much with gems because you won't use it for long. if i had your level i'd use common gems. with expensive 3-star or legendary i'd use average.

    I sharded my FB19 weapon, and my Rank gear since they came with sockets and will last me long enough to make it worth the shard cost. In lower levels, I only shard my characters' equipment if I found the shard and I'm happy with its effects. Otherwise the time I'd be using it isn't worth my bother with the (admitedly minor) expense.

    hmmm... u guys think its worth it to buy 3 star lvl 40s weapon with 2 avg sapphire shards for 400k ? (current bid) Im just worried that it won't be easy to sell it back with approx same price after i don't need it anymore.

    Level 40s, probably not.
    You'll only be using that weapon for 10 or less levels before your supply stash gives you an even better level 50s weapon. (At the cost of a perfect hammer, 500k to 700k).
    Opening the supply stash is well worth it for 50, so I would suggest you do it.
    So, paying 400k for a level 40s weapon really isn't worth the money.

    Find a cheap 2 star or 3 star level 40s weapon for 100k or less (which I see quite often here on Lost City), and use it till 50.

    I'm waiting til my HH90 to shard personally. I level fast though. I wouldn't shard before 70 imo because you cycle through armour to quickly

    Don't buy. It's absolutely not worth it. Aside from a lvl 40 weapon not being used long enough, you're on Sanctuary server, where TT60 magic swords go for 200-300k.
