Help with BM Please

Ok so my friends in RL just got PWI. I want to ask this:

What is the better build to go with for a BM?

I was thinking Axe, but they like dual swords/blades

And a faction mate of mines said single sword is even better than both... SO any advice for me? Obviously i dont play BM

And i know they all have their ups and downs like axes AoE and swords/blades higher single target dmg and so on.

I want your Biased opinion on what you would tell your friends if they wanted to be a BM

    He could go with sword build from the beginning and start Axe path (as auxiliary) after completing FB39 and cultivation quests. He won't be hard hitter with axe but sword build should compensate it by scoring critical hits annoyingly often due to hi-dex. Then he would have advantages of both paths- good 1vs1 fight abilities and AoE's for grinding.

    The debate is long is quick innacurate summary I can say the following:

    Go axes, Go axes, Go axess. its the most popular weapon and the easiest for BM's. Axes is a no brainer. You use your AOE for 1v1, 1v several and for anything you can imagine.

    However, if you want to have challenges and be a special force use any other weapon in the BM tree. The other weapons are the strategy weapons IMO as the skills have particular purpose like: slowdown, mag cancelling, bleeding, knockback,ect.

    In other words you have to use your head more on the other weapons. as the skills are mostly use for their effect rather than the damage I would say.

    Myself, I use mostly sword and fists and Axes for AOE purposes only. keep in mind you can use several weapons. I have mastery on 10 on the 3 weapons.

    But again, nobody will tell you that you are using the wrong weapon when you have your axes.
